Хотел "Магнолия" — Hotel in Sapareva Bania

From the outside, the hotel was looking nice and the location was perfect. But at the very moment I stepped into the hotel, I noticed the bad organization and the lack of staff. I was travelling with a group, a reservation had been made and the hotel was not ready. I would not blame the lady at the desk, she did everything she could to help us, but everything was running so bad that it was just an impossible mission : there were not enough rooms, those available were not completely clean, in some bathrooms, there was water on the ground and many equipments were in bad condition... At the dinner, the food was good but the staff was not very efficient : the waiter was not even able to open a bottle of wine and someone from the group had to show him how to do it. At the breakfast, the coffee machine was out of order and only a little choice of food was offered... Although we had booked for 2 nights, we...

A worn-out hotel. The rooms are very old. ||The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, and there are water stains on the ceiling. The sofa has burn marks. The bathroom door has a gap of about a hand's width from the floor, so everything can be heard. There are stains and splashes on the coat rack board. Some of the electrical outlets are broken. The staff barely speaks proper Bulgarian, I can't even guess if English is an option, making communication difficult.||There was an issue with late check-in. The reception is not 24/7. The rooms were mixed up. We stayed for the whole weekend. We would not visit again.||The location is nice, and the breakfast and dinner are okay - but that's...

We stayed there for two nights and got a studio that should be for three people. However there were no sheets,towels,blanket or any other equipment for the third person, although we had explicitly told them when we made our booking that there were three of us. The Wi Fi signal was virtually non-existent, you could get a signal only on selected spots near the reception desk and even there it was hard and the speed was really annoyingly slow. The staff was ok, but nothing special at all, I hardly saw anyone of them smiling during our stay. The area around the hotel was fine, it's situated in the forest and it's relatively quiet and that is basically the only good...
