Hotel Bendida — Hotel in Sapareva Bania

Everything about this hotel is average. There was a smell of cigarettes in the room, coming from the ventilation in the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open the whole night, the smell was still noticeable.

Extremely uncomfortable pillows (very very high).

The restaurant is just fine to get your hunger stilled, absolutely nothing to distinguish itself. Although breakfast allegedly included in the room price, one can choose only between the 2 cheapest options of sandwiches despite the menu having at least 8 listed under “Breakfast”. Of course also no cappuccino included in the “free breakfast”.

It was way too hot in the hotel, however this enabled us to sleep with tilted window in February (-5 celsius in the night) which was great given the excellent air.

In conclusion, it is OK for one night however we are not coming back...

The room: big, clean, huge bathroom, pampering shower (water ran out from the bathroom to the room) Breakfast: tasty but rather small, if you're hungry then you'll have to order from the menu Cleanliness: clean Comfort: the room was comfortable BUT there is no elevator so we had to climb three stories with our laugage. Location: very good for those going to Rila lakes Stuff: except for one lady non of them speak English so it was a little difficult but I must say that they've tried their best to give us good service. Free WiFi: Only on the first floor Parking: free and plenty TV Channels: Honestly, don't remember :-) Value for money: 7

DON'T GO THERE, you will thank me later (Everyone that left a review before mw are people from the hotel, nothing is true) The rooms smell terrible I couldn't sleep cuz of the smell. Very very dirty The bathroom is unusable The bathroom door didn't have a latch I had to lock it from inside no problem but when my friend did it he got locked inside 4.I tried to call them but they close the phones afte 10pm No one was at the reception My friend is claustrophobic he was having a pannick attack and I couldn't do anything. We had to call our friends from Sofia (Pay with my money 50 euros) for them to come with a drill and take my friend out. When we told them the problem they said only ok. No discount no anything.
