Diana 3 Hotel — Hotel in Sofia City

I am terribly sorry, but there really isn't anything good to say about this hotel. The best course of action would be to close the whole place for half a year and thoroughly renovate it from top to bottom.||||We booked for a couple of days, but already left after the first night. The hotel and the room were extremely dated and gave a flashback to the 70s. Apart from an air-conditioner and a (non-functional) TV, the room only came with the most basic furniture and amenities. The bathroom had a leaky and loose toilet and was not more than 4sqm, with the shower "being" a shower-head and a central drain in the bathroom itself.||||The worst issue, however, was the overall cleanliness. Three times we had to use a coffee-cup to (gently) trap cockroaches and relocate them through the balcony to their freedom. Not blaming the cockroaches, but their presence is an indicator of how well the place is maintained and cleaned. Reception was shrugging shoulders on this issue and blamed it onto guests.||||Speaking of the reception, the staff spoke very little English and was not too concerned when we negated the question whether "everything was okay" upon check-out.||||Last but not least, while there technically is a Wifi network, the Wifi connection itself barely worked (most of the time, it did not issue an IP address) and when it did, the connection was not stable and disconnected after a few moments.||||In short, avoid the place until there was a...

I chose Hotel Diana 3 because its close to the sports complex. The sheets were clean, the rooms also were clean and the staff was very pollite.
