My husband and I stayed at Oasis Boutique Hotel which was supposed to be the pearl in the complex. Our first impression was quite good as the location and the view was really what we expected. Unfortunately this good feeling didn't last long as the staff turned out to be completely unaware with some of the services included in our offer. For example every time when we asked for the afternoon snack we received various answers, even that such thing does not exist. When the weather was cold we asked for more information about the SPA in the morning. After we were assured that there are sauna and steam bath in the hotel when we decided to try them in the afternoon they weren't switched on. The receptionist was the only one nearby but he wasn't quite sure whether they work at all !!! Happily at least the sauna worked. ||||The gourmet restaurant offers amazing dishes, but here again comes the bad service. In the first morning after we waited 15 min my husband had to search for the waitress in the kitchen to bring us espresso. In the afternoon we ordered the same type of coffee and received two cups of instant coffee with the excuse that the bartender is different and this coffee is free!!! Later it was included in our bill as a classic espresso. The guy who brought the bill was different from the girl that served the coffee and started to cover her up which annoyed us even more. This is not a 2 or 3 star hotel, we paid enough to expect a different attitude and not to be lied! ||||The hotel doesn't offer any value for the money they asked! The luxury shouldn't be limited to the interior and the view. The service matters! ||||We definitely won't stay at this hotel again, but we can't ignore its good location. The resort is very quiet and the park adds a sense of tranquility. The beach is clean as well as the pool. The rooms are tidy and spacious with a lovely sea view. Golden sands' center is within...
Read moreThis is probably my best hotel experience so far. The Bulgarian Black Sea is not really known for good service and facilities but this one really deserves its name. We visited in late summer and were charmed not only by the overall look of the hotel (probably build about a century ago), but also by the interior of the room we stayed in. It is located inside of the “Riviera” complex which is mostly populated by German and Russian tourists. In order to go to the beach a visitor should actually take a short walk, but the hotel has its own pool with a marvelous view over the sea. The closest building is situated at least 500 meters away so it is really nice and quiet throughout the whole day and evening. The breakfast is good and the restaurant provides plenty of options for any taste should you decide to stay for lunch or dinner. There is a well-maintained park next to the hotel building which is quite suitable for a romantic walk. With this being said, keep in mind that this is not a place where party people should head to. It is a comfort zone for couples or young families. Whether you decide to surprise your loved one with a nice hideaway or just to take a short break from everyday life, this is the right place to spend the weekend. To be honest, a person could get a bit bored if staying for more than a few day. After all, I think it’s a must in case you have the time and money. Just take a note that quality always...
Read moreThis place has the potential to be indeed an oasis....except for the dreadful service and lack of care for the costumers.||||I fail to see how such an exclusive place with 5 star can still run under this management. The "private" pool is anything but private, random children, visitors and walk bys take advantage of the pool for photos games and what not and no one seems to care. They disrupted the atmosphere and ruined our stay at the pool. Which by that by has not been cleaned recently! The common restroom was filthy, smelling the cheapest chemical wc! Unacceptable at these prices. ||As for breakfast - nothing warmed served at 8am! Again, they say they are 5 star. But they actually brought out yesterday's baked goods which might have been even two days old.||The staff was unfriendly, wanting us to sign documents a day before we checked out "so they are not disturbed at the time of our leave. (?!?!?) On top of it all staff was carrying out loud private phone conversation under hour terrace disrupting our rest. ||||The rooms while good were not spectacular and could not make up for the poor service, rude behaviour and substandard conditions, especially considering the price.||||A...
