Moloppor Villa Battambang — Hotel in Battambang

Before coming to this beautiful hotel we phoned them with some questions. They were already friendly and very helpful on the phone. When we arrived the next day they showed us the property and rooms. Afterwards we could choose. Much better than what you sometimes get: pay now see your room later.

We could immediately get a breakfast on arrival (for a small charge) since we had none before. They prepared the room in the mean time and put our luggage there. We also rented a motorcycle at the property without any hassle. Before 10:30 we were all set, checked in, pampered and so our adventurous day could start off. All because of the great hospitality they offered.

The room was amazing, breakfast is excellent, the pool and deckchairs made the luxurious feel complete. The room has a very nice egg shell shaped bath, good shower, silent air-condition, and was immaculately clean. The hotel offers a variety of Khmer and European dishes, so easy to your heart's delight. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is in dire need of being pampered.

AVOID! we arrived to check in with a confirmed booking and full fee taken prior to arrival to be very rudely told they were fully booked! the manager was nice about the issue but the previous two staff members handled the issue completely inappropriately! we waited for two hours while the manager found us alternative accommodation for the night which we did appreciate! however when we arrived the next day our room wasn't ready! we went for a day tour and came back in the evening! we found the room was not like the photos, not very clean and overall not good value for money! The Moloppor Villa is a beautiful place with very friendly staff. The first thing you see is a gorgeous pool filled with salt watter which I think is excellent. The staff is really helpful. We had a cooking class reservation and the guy didn't show up so the daughter of the owner arranged for us a new cooking class in 5 minutes and we had a blast there! The rooms are really cosy and huge with a large bathroom that has a fancy bathtub. The food is also very tasty and the portions are huge.
