Motel7 — Hotel in Khaet Preah Sihanouk

We found Motel 7 and checked in late after driving around a very busy Sihanoukville searching for a room. |They have very friendly reception and housekeeping staff, night time security and we were allowed to bring our dog with us. |It's what you should expect from a Motel - the room was clean, cool and good value for the price and our only criticism was that the mattress needed either flipping, or maybe replaced as it dipped in the middle (which we did tell the receptionist the next day) so we ended up staying for three nights, but swapped rooms to one with a more comfortable bed, which was absolutely...

We stayed here for 1 night while we couldn’t find a cheap hostel with a pool in Sihanoukville. It was okay for what we needed- somewhere to sleep and shower. We didn’t have any bug issues and the guy at reception was great. There was quite a big gap under the door which didn’t feel extremely safe but the Motel is quite small and fairly quiet. The place appeared empty when I arrived and I was allocated a ground floor room that was tucked in the corner at the back which didn't get any sunlight. There was a window in the room, but this faced a wall and no natural light entered the room. Outside of my door was an AC units overflow, so you could never tell whether it was really raining outside or not.

The room was clean enough, but dreary doesn't come close. The room I had could definitely use an update, the other rooms appeared...
