The hotel exterior is impressive compared to the surrounding buildings. Staff can speak English & Chinese. Room is spacious & clean. Bed is large and comfortable. Basic amenities are available - Wi-Fi, air-con, water boiler, slippers, basic bathroom toiletries, clean towels. ||||What I didn’t like are:||- Bathtub squeaks a little bit. ||- Hot shower is inconsistent - one day with hot water, another day without.||- TV is old CRT type, not even a flat screen in this era. Reception is poor.||||There is a Chinese restaurant beside reception. Breakfast was ordered from menu - 1 main dish plus tea/coffee. On the second morning, we sat at the second floor. The service was bad - not interested in taking orders, slow in serving. In fact, they missed 1 order. Even we kept reminding them, it took a long time to arrive. ||||Overall, it is still value for...

Very disappointing indeed. Poor sleep every night as there was chairs being pulled across the floor above us until the early hours of every morning but as communication was extremely difficult we could not make...
