We spent a week at Nita By Vo, during our first visit to Cambodia - it definitely won’t be the last. It is a smaller hotel, but this ensured a level of personal service that we haven’t encountered elsewhere. It gave us the chance to get to to know the staff and without exception they were excellent - always ready with a smile and welcome.||We were met at the airport by the friendly and efficient Mr Chan. . He and the reception team were full of advice and ideas on what to do during our stay, helping us to make arrangements. They arranged an excellent tuk tuk driver ( Mr Sophen) who provided transport for us throughout the week. He provided clear directions on where he would pick us up during our visits to the various temples and sites was always ready with chilled water or a beer during breaks in our exploring. ||The hotel’s location was perfect for us. It is in a quieter area - away from the madness of Pub Street, but close to the temples at Angkor. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Tuk tuks are cheap and plentiful, so it was very easy to get around.||The roof top swimming pool is lovely and a great place to relax at the end of a long day. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. Internet is excellent.||||Many staff members are learning English, so occasionally things were lost in translation - but it was never an issue - there was always someone around with whom we could communicate. ||We always gauge a hotel on whether we would return and in this case we would definitely do so. By the end of our stay the staff here felt more like friends - we were sad to leave! We have travelled extensively, but the kindness and hospitality we encountered here really stands out. ||We are now staying in a large corporate hotel in Bangkok, but unlike Nita By Vo, it has no soul. We already miss our base in Siem Reap and its...
Read moreWhat especially made it for us was our small, friendly and very welcoming hotel, Nita by Vo luxury, where all the staff are efficient, friendly, welcoming and attentive to your every need! The rooms are well appointed with rain showers, comfortable beds, mini bar and sitting area. The rooftop pool was lovely, with a bar on hand, and plenty of sun beds and room although every time we used it we were on our own! The little extras like complimentary cocktail, and excellent, hour long massage for your stay plus a discount off other food and drink were great. They also organised our temple tour with a very knowledgeable guide and a cooking lesson with their excellent chef which included a visit to the local market which was an experience in itself! Special mention here goes to Kim who took us along and gave us so much information and an explanation of what we were seeing and an insight into how people live, it was an education in itself and made it a memorable occasion. It was also more memorable when they made a special cake for my birthday and then all sung happy birthday to me which was lovely. What is so nice is that they all seem to get along, no shouted orders , they just work together well and anticipate your need, like the welcome drink when you get back from your temple tour or the endless cups of coffee or orange juice at breakfast! We can’t praise the whole team highly enough and would happily and without hesitation recommend Nita by Vo luxury as the hotel to visit when going to Siem Reap ( they also do free pick up and drop off at the airport). Plus they are close to the temples but also only a 5 min tuk tuk ride into town ( which they do for free between 5-8 but it’s only a couple of dollars outside these hours anyway and it is the best (if not slightly dangerous)...
Read moreMy stay at Nita by VO was absolutely amazing. I've never had such hospitality. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager and staff. They were literally waiting for us to arrive. We arrived pretty late, so the manager let us get some rest and said we could handle all the paperwork the next day. The manager was always available and could be easily contacted through WhatsApp. He got our breakfast orders every day. We were scheduled to come down at a certain time, and every time we arrived, our food was waiting for us. He was very informative about excursions and recommended the best places to visit. We took a tuk-tuk to Angkor Wat, and it was such an amazing experience. They also told us about the floating villages. Everything we needed was readily available. I literally requested towels at 10 o'clock, and by 10:01 am, the staff were at the door with towels, rags, tissues, and all the other toiletries we needed. The pool was very nice, and there were life jackets because the water is a little deep. The only thing is that the pool was under construction, so there wasn't a functioning bar; however, the manager used his own personal money to make sure we had beer and liquor. It was amazing. He recommended amazing restaurants; everything was just wonderful, and lastly, we went to the spa; they offered every kind of massage you could think of: Thai, deep tissue, and Swedish. It was honestly the best massage I've ever gotten on vacation. I literally fell asleep. I was so relaxed afterwards; every single staff person was respectful and friendly. They gave us everything we needed and paid so much attention to what we wanted; we literally felt like Queens every day. I recommend this place 1000% Mike and staff. You are the best. I can't wait...
