I had a wonderful stay here in late April with my sister.||The lobby was very impressive, very nicely decorated. We felt very welcome every time we returned to the hotel. I liked the location, it felt far enough from the main part of town to be more calm and quiet but still close enough to easily get anywhere. Reception provided the very handy service of exchanging larger notes for smaller ones, making it much easier to pay with cash when required.||Beds were very comfortable. We had a very nice view over the beautiful pool and a balcony that we saw the sunrise from. The tiled floor in the bedroom looked a bit dirty though, and this showed on the bottom of the disposable slippers they provided. The hotel corridors were a bit hot since they had no windows and there wasn’t a cross-breeze but the air conditioning in the room worked well.||Breakfast was a la carte, and you could keep ordering during breakfast hours until you had enough. They had a special menu for dietaries including gluten free. They even provided a very nice packed breakfast for our very early morning trip to see the Angkor Wat sunrise.|The fresh watermelon and pineapple juices were fantastic, and the fruit platter had a good mix of tropical fruits. The Khmer dishes were tasty, and the western egg dishes were very good if I overlooked the bread.|The dishes were very customisable, which was a lifesaver for us because my sister developed a very painful mouth ulcer during the trip, and had to order things that needed as little chewing as possible.|Thank you so much to one of the breakfast attendants in particular who we saw every day, nothing was too much trouble for her, she even gave us some soup to take away in our canteen so my sister could get some much needed nutrition later in the day.|Thank you also to everyone for the lovely surprise at breakfast the morning of my...

I had one of the best stays in Siem Reap in November 2024. I was recommended by my cousin who stayed here a few months prior and I was looking forward experiencing it myself. Everything about Hotel Vellita exceeded my expectations. First of all, the hotel was a short ride from the center of Krong Siem Reap, but was still tucked in enough and away from the crowds making it a peaceful retreat. My parents and I arrived were warmly welcomed when we arrived to check in for our 4-night stay. My parents stayed at the Deluxe King Room and I stayed at the slighter bigger Deluxe Pool View Room with a free standing tub. Both rooms were spacious and faced east where we could catch the beautiful sunrise every morning. The furniture and interior design was upscale, and well-thought-out. We enjoyed all complimentary breakfast sessions featuring really good pastries as well as local foods which was impressive. Our family tends to pass on having breakfast at hotels since they tend to be generic and standard, but we stayed for breakfast for all four days we were at the hotel. I was impressed by the quality and service provided by staff. This leads me to mention the outstanding hospitality I felt from each and every member of the staff at Hotel Vellita. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable after long days exploring Siem Reap. Overall, I’m beyond impressed by the level of detail and attention the hotel had. I had one of the most memorable stays at a Siem Reap hotel. I hope to...

My stay at Vellita was an unparalleled experience of comfort and hospitality. As a brand-new establishment, Vellita boasts top-notch facilities that left nothing to be desired. The swimming pool, a serene oasis, is thoughtfully shaded by the hotel structure, allowing guests to enjoy a refreshing swim at almost any time of the day without the concern of direct sunlight.

The culinary offerings at Vellita were a delightful journey for the taste buds. The breakfast stood out, particularly the delectable pancakes and the exquisite Kher soup, both of which I highly recommend. Opting for room service on our first day, we were treated to a meal that was nothing short of delicious.

The heart and soul of Vellita, however, lies in its staff. Ms. Sara, the guest relations manager, together with her colleagues at the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams, were phenomenal. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort throughout the stay was evident in their attentive service and warm smiles. They provided excellent recommendations for dining in Siem Reap, enriching our experience of the local cuisine.

What touched me the most was the genuine care and interest they showed in our well-being and satisfaction. Engaging in friendly conversations with them at the end of a long day was a highlight of my stay, always succeeding in lifting my spirits.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Vellita. It's a place I earnestly look forward...

Hotel Vellita in Siem Reap is simply incredible! The rooms are amazing — spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The team at the hotel provides exceptional service; they truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The hotel’s design is stunning, blending modern elegance with local touches. They really go the extra mile for their guests in every way possible, such as providing a cool towel as you return from your day tours. The only feedback I have is about the room categories, which could be named more clearly to avoid confusion. The Deluxe King Room with a Pool View (which has a shower only) is actually different from the Pool View Deluxe King Room (which has a bath): worded very similar yet offer very different experiences, it is absolutely worthwhile to upgrade to the Deluxe King with the bath (it is stunning, and also has a shower in the room), so be sure to book the right room category. Also, while the rooms have everything you need, I found it odd that they don't provide hair conditioner, which seemed like a small oversight given their attention to detail in every other aspect. Overall, an exceptional stay — I will definitely be returning and highly recommended!

First of all this hotel was perfect from start to finish. It Is luxurious and quiet, ideal for couples who want to spend a quiet and comfortable stay in Siem reap. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with some refreshing drinks and a room upgrade! The room was amazing, beyond our expectations, beds were comfortable and the bath and shower incredible. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious with a menu a la carte plus a buffet. We also had dinner there and the food was exquisite. With my wife we used the spa twice because the Khmer traditional massage was so good, the best massage we have had in our 3 weeks travelling in South East Asia. By the way the location was really great as well, if you take a tuk tuk outside the hotel it will take you to Siem Reap market for only $2. Thanks to all the lovely staff who works at Hotel Vellita who were super friendly and welcoming at all times! We hope to visit again in a near future. Eric & Angie from Australia.

A really lovely hotel in Siem Reap! Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive — always happy to help and quick to arrange anything you might need. The hotel is very clean throughout, with modern rooms and comfortable beds. The pool area is beautiful and definitely a standout — a great place to relax after exploring the temples. The water can feel a little nippy at times, but it’s still a refreshing treat in the Cambodian heat! Location is super convenient — just about 5–7 minutes from town, with tuk tuks always waiting right outside, so getting around is easy. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection to start the day. Overall, a solid and enjoyable place to stay with great service and lovely facilities. Would happily return next time I’m in Siem Reap! 🌴🏨✨
