I had a wonderful stay here in late April with my sister.||The lobby was very impressive, very nicely decorated. We felt very welcome every time we returned to the hotel. I liked the location, it felt far enough from the main part of town to be more calm and quiet but still close enough to easily get anywhere. Reception provided the very handy service of exchanging larger notes for smaller ones, making it much easier to pay with cash when required.||Beds were very comfortable. We had a very nice view over the beautiful pool and a balcony that we saw the sunrise from. The tiled floor in the bedroom looked a bit dirty though, and this showed on the bottom of the disposable slippers they provided. The hotel corridors were a bit hot since they had no windows and there wasn’t a cross-breeze but the air conditioning in the room worked well.||Breakfast was a la carte, and you could keep ordering during breakfast hours until you had enough. They had a special menu for dietaries including gluten free. They even provided a very nice packed breakfast for our very early morning trip to see the Angkor Wat sunrise.|The fresh watermelon and pineapple juices were fantastic, and the fruit platter had a good mix of tropical fruits. The Khmer dishes were tasty, and the western egg dishes were very good if I overlooked the bread.|The dishes were very customisable, which was a lifesaver for us because my sister developed a very painful mouth ulcer during the trip, and had to order things that needed as little chewing as possible.|Thank you so much to one of the breakfast attendants in particular who we saw every day, nothing was too much trouble for her, she even gave us some soup to take away in our canteen so my sister could get some much needed nutrition later in the day.|Thank you also to everyone for the lovely surprise at breakfast the morning of my...
Read moreI had one of the best stays in Siem Reap in November 2024. I was recommended by my cousin who stayed here a few months prior and I was looking forward experiencing it myself. Everything about Hotel Vellita exceeded my expectations. First of all, the hotel was a short ride from the center of Krong Siem Reap, but was still tucked in enough and away from the crowds making it a peaceful retreat. My parents and I arrived were warmly welcomed when we arrived to check in for our 4-night stay. My parents stayed at the Deluxe King Room and I stayed at the slighter bigger Deluxe Pool View Room with a free standing tub. Both rooms were spacious and faced east where we could catch the beautiful sunrise every morning. The furniture and interior design was upscale, and well-thought-out. We enjoyed all complimentary breakfast sessions featuring really good pastries as well as local foods which was impressive. Our family tends to pass on having breakfast at hotels since they tend to be generic and standard, but we stayed for breakfast for all four days we were at the hotel. I was impressed by the quality and service provided by staff. This leads me to mention the outstanding hospitality I felt from each and every member of the staff at Hotel Vellita. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable after long days exploring Siem Reap. Overall, I’m beyond impressed by the level of detail and attention the hotel had. I had one of the most memorable stays at a Siem Reap hotel. I hope to...
Read moreMy stay at Vellita was an unparalleled experience of comfort and hospitality. As a brand-new establishment, Vellita boasts top-notch facilities that left nothing to be desired. The swimming pool, a serene oasis, is thoughtfully shaded by the hotel structure, allowing guests to enjoy a refreshing swim at almost any time of the day without the concern of direct sunlight.
The culinary offerings at Vellita were a delightful journey for the taste buds. The breakfast stood out, particularly the delectable pancakes and the exquisite Kher soup, both of which I highly recommend. Opting for room service on our first day, we were treated to a meal that was nothing short of delicious.
The heart and soul of Vellita, however, lies in its staff. Ms. Sara, the guest relations manager, together with her colleagues at the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams, were phenomenal. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort throughout the stay was evident in their attentive service and warm smiles. They provided excellent recommendations for dining in Siem Reap, enriching our experience of the local cuisine.
What touched me the most was the genuine care and interest they showed in our well-being and satisfaction. Engaging in friendly conversations with them at the end of a long day was a highlight of my stay, always succeeding in lifting my spirits.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Vellita. It's a place I earnestly look forward...
