Opens from 5pm, small place but nice with aircon, good music and friendly staff. Now about the food... I’ve been living here for almost 2 years trying as much places as a can and by far The best lasagna and carbonara es here! The prices are good, owner it’s Italian so we can call it authentic Italian food and he donates to a ngo ( you can check their fb page for more details I’m not too familiar with that) also offers delivery service free of charge, the food always arrives hot and delicious. I used to say I wasn’t a big pizza person, mainly because my pizza of choice isn’t always available at some restaurants I have been to. Controversial for some my winning combo is anchovies, olives & capers. Not only does Amici do a winning Napolitana but they also have what has now become my favorite - the Sicilia. Which delivers an anchovy, garlic and chilli party in my mouth. It doesn’t come with olives as standard but I always ask for them, which they are happy to accommodate. The ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings is perfect & generous compared to some other places. They always have fantastic looking specials on the menu but I can’t help but stick to my favorite pizza whenever I go there. Went into the restaurant... no worker sat us down or even acknowledged we were there. When we were there and sat down for a 5 minutes with still no service aka not even a menu. I went up and asked the man behind the bar for 2 menus politely. When he finally came to our table with the menus he said ‘ this is a proper restaurant if you want quick service go to McDonald’s or Burger King’ RUDELY which was very unnecessary! We are customers!
