MOLD in every room on the first floor! When we arrived there, no one was at the reception and no one took the phone! After a while a random guy (neighbor or friend?) came and gave us a key for a room where we temporarily could put our stuff. Arriving at our room, we saw a lot of mold on the ceiling and we also didn’t get the room which we actually booked. We told the staff and they promised that we get a better room the next day. Waking up the next morning, we (4 people) all felt weird after breathing in the moldy air for a whole night. Then the staff brought us to the other room. We got a room with a surprisingly newly painted ceiling (it was even still wet) and the smell in there was a mixture of painting and mold! We thought it was a joke but they kind of couldn’t understand our health concerns. After discussing for a while, we only got half of the money back and were just happy to be out of there! It was definitely our worst experience in South East...
Read moreThe ceiling of our room was full of mold. We told our host the same day and he said we can move to a different room the next day after calling his boss. Also he told us that already lots of other guests complained about this problem but his boss doesn't care. On the next day when he showed us the other room there was also mold but they tried to paint over the molded ceiling therefore it smelled moldly and freshly painted. He told us all rooms on the second level are full of mold. We then moved out and tried to get a refund but we still had to pay for 2 nights although we only stayed one night. We were very happy when we moved to a different place. Sadly the people who work there are very friendly and it wasn't their fault but their boss which owns multiple hotels doesn't care...
Read moreHad a fantastic stay here. It is a family run hotel, they and the staff at the hotel are very friendly and Bo Bo was very attentive to make sure everything was ok . We had a problem with the TV but it was sorted and replaced. The food here is home cooked , whilst there isn’t a huge variety of food , it is tasty. We were given a free bowl of fruit with each meal. You can see Angor Wat in the distance from the roof top (which is cool) and a sunrise from the rooftop is quite spectacular. What is especially nice about this place is the private pool , which after a long hot day visiting temples is a nice way to cool off. Another nice touch was allowing us the use of our room and pool after check out until our departure. We would definitely recommend staying and...
