Stayed there for a conference 4 days. The food was ok not great. The staff interactions in the Forte and the main bar were above exceptional. I found the staff in the SPA a bit cold, or they were just tired due to staff shortages I assume. The place is in need of up grades/renovations. It's starting to look worn down in the conference rooms and the hotel room as well but still very clean based on the wear n tear over the years. Of course the walking trails are beautiful. As far as prices for meals and accommodations like any resort are over priced but they can do that. The Nordic spa had some nice robes but they wanted $300 for something that costs $70 to make, a bit greedy on the mark up but again why not if people are crazy enough to purchase it I almost did but they only had S and XS on men's. If you like the outdoors and the mountains I highly recommend you staying here. Worth the $$ you will spend but don't expect Walmart prices.

Spectacular views and funny trails to explore but I have never tried to sleep with an entire furnace into the room, the noise is so intense that I wasn't able to rest, nevertheless activities are great for kids I visit for the Easter egg finding event. I will definitely go back for kids activities but I will make a better selection of rooms

We usually stop in at Kananaskis Village after a day of photography in Kananaskis. Food is good at the restaurants, altho we prefer Woody's Pub. Souvenirs are available here in the Village, also a Post Office. Great hiking in the area, too.
