Very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Although the room was overall clean and it had a small fridge for my personal use, it lacked in some key features I like when I stay at hotels. Namely, the tv didn't want to work (although I could turn it on and off I couldn't do anything else including plug in my own hdmi device to it. The tv couldn't seem to recognize the input). The internet was slow (could only stream at 360p and sometimes would get some real long buffering times where it would try to play the rest of what I was watching without success), the bathroom fan would not turn on and finally I could hear knocking noises from the hallway as of +/- 6am. Beds were ok in terms of comfort and they did have a few appropriately placed electrical and USB ports to charge my devices. Staff was friendly (only met one person at the front however so not very exposed to the hotel personnel). Location was also very good seeing that it is located within walking distance to many amenities. Will not stay at this resort again...
Read moreStayed here as part of our cycling trip on Veleroute des Bleuets around Lac Saint Jean in early August. Did the same trip in 2011 and stayed here then as well. Good location in Alma, within walking distance to a number of restaurants/bars. Also a restaurant attached to the hotel where we had breakfast. Bedrooms were quite large which was good as we needed to store our bikes in them. Elevator was large enough to bring bicycles up in. Room was comfortable, fairly modern and clean. Had 2 queen beds and a mini fridge. Front desk gave us a password for the wifi but we never got it to work. Bathtub was very slippery – should have had a mat for inside the tub. I would stay here again if I was...
