This had to be one of my worst hotel experiences ever. When I turned down the covers to go to bed, there was a dirty pair of socks at the foot of the bed, under the sheet. From this I could only conclude that the bedding had not been changed. I called the front desk (it was now 11 PM), the girl said she would advise the manager the next day. I checked out at 4 AM to catch my flight, fully expecting either a call or an email as soon as the manager came in. With no contact of any kind by that afternoon, I called the hotel. The front desk clerk said that the night clerk had not made any note in my file. She put me through to the manager, Tanya, who had no knowledge of the issue, but promised to get back to me right away after checking with the head housekeeper. Three days later, I of course had not heard back from Tanya. I would have thought that having given a guest a room with a dirty bed would have been considered a serious problem, but it would seem that this hotel just doesn't care. Read moreI don't usually give five stars to hotels because most brands will have good service, friendly staff, comfortable, accommodations etc... rarely will they exceed expectations. This is my second time staying here in the past year, they haven't disappointed and they exceed expectations without even knowing it. It's more than just a comfortable environment and feeling when you walk in. Front desk staff is very polite and they actually strike up a conversation with you as opposed to the robotic responses and interaction you receive from other hotels. They are apologetic if they have to quickly tend to a ringing phone and are there to answer all your questions. (Thanks Cynthia!)
Rooms: The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, almost with a 'Euro' feel to them.
After driving through a snow storm, arriving at this location was more than welcome. I'd definitely return here...

The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, and the room amenities were adequate.
