Destination inn — Hotel in Cache Creek

Our stay here was truly wonderful. We bumped into issues that the Destination quickly resolved and their accommodations are really nice!

We showed up under the impression we had made a reservation for the night we needed through expedia and had mistakenly reserved a room for the wrong date. We had the worst trip and were so exhausted from an over 20 hour drive. We were having the a bad night, our dogs were exhausted, we were exhausted, and every single room in a 20km radius was sold out including here due to a production working in town. Sukh was a huge help! He called a number of hotels in the area trying to find us a pet friendly room and eventually found a room that the production company ended up not needing here. We were so grateful and his service was excellent.

The room itself is pretty nice! It was clean and well cared for. They had kitchenette option for cooking including a refrigerator, dishes, a sink, and a burner. They also have complimentary coffee and tea options in the room. The AC was especially fantastic. The added bonus - totally affordable and reasonably priced. Ultimately, I would definitely stay here again....

Very clean and nice. It would be helpful to have information on how to use the heating system and the TV and the air conditioner and or vent. I couldn't get any of them to work. It was a cold night. I did find one blanket But not until the morning. I hope for a tired traveler would be appreciated. Very well renovated and a really nice place to stay. The pool was not working but they say it will be up in the summer. The staff is really nice and helpful, but they leave at 10:00 p.m. So there's no one to ask when you can't figure out things. Overall, it's a great place to stay. A book for visitors and directions on the heating system and TV and air conditioning vent which seems obvious to them would be helpful. The new renovations and decorations and light colors are set up great and should help those who have allergies because they can be kept so clean. I don't believe they had a pet friendly room, but they were okay with the pet staying in the car. Hopefully maybe they can have a pet friendly room in the future. But for most people without pets it makes the rooms...

On the plus side, the room was clean, the kitchenette was well equipped, the shower was great, the bed was comfy, the aircon worked well (but was noisy), there was good parking directly outside the room, the parking area was protected by a security gate, and the wifi worked well. A special mention, too, for the person on the front desk - helpful, polite, friendly and efficient.||But - the room was almost unacceptably small. There was nowhere to put a suitcase, except on the floor, until I asked at the front desk if they had a stand on which I could put it. Thankfully, one was found and all was well. If there had been two people in the room, each with a bag, you would have been constantly stepping over one bag. Also, the tiny table only had one chair. The presence of two chairs and table on the walkway outsde the room was perhaps some compensation.||Will I be staying here again? ...
