Room was clean but very simple. There are very few plugs in the room (probably because it is a very old building). There also isn't a plug in the bathroom, which probably explains why there is no hair dryer. I was able to borrow one from the front desk but had to use it in the room (the plug is far away from the mirror. And that same plug has two extension cords -- one of them has the tv and the fridge plugged in) The bed is just a mattress, no headboard. The washroom is clean. The breakfast ends at 9am so we missed it. The lady that cleans the rooms knocks on the door hard at 8:30 am asking if we will be checking out that day. I think she does that because she has no other way of finding out. The guy at the front desk likely sleeps in a room close to the front desk. He works at the front desk in the evening to manage check in's. Then he returns to his room. If you want anything, you ring the bell. In the morning for check out, you just leave the key cards at the front desk. He sleeps in. It is an unusual way of managing a hotel (a Wydham one too) but I guess it works. If you just need a clean place to sleep for the night, this is suitable if the price is right. I think that it is not super family friendly because of the whole hairdryer inconvenience. What bothered me the most is actually the parking lot. It needs paving very soon. There are too many holes. Lastly, there are no elevators in the building so dont go if you are expecting to carry...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars for this hotel I would ! No wonder there wasn’t any other cars in the parking lot. The guy at the front desk was awfully rude to me, wouldn’t explain when I would receive my $300 deposit back because (he’s not the bank) yet he said he needed $300 from me? Finally he said it depends on my bank and I will get it back when I check out as long as the room is clean and no visitors after 10 pm. I asked if me and my partner could have a room with a balcony and he said they were fully booked - and gave us the room RIGHT BESIDE the front desk the first room in the hallway. He was completely condescending and the room was an inconvenience in itself as it had no outlets in the bathroom or near it, no mirrors, no other wall outlets in the entire room except for one by the bed. There wasn’t even an alarm clock in the suite to tell the time if our phones were dead when there’s only one outlet to charge them. When we were packing to leave we asked if it was possible to have 30 extra minutes for an 11:30 checkout and he said no. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone stay anywhere else! There was no other guests in the hotel the entire night and no cars in the morning yet he stated they were...
Read moreIt is so bad I want to give it a zero, but that's not possible so I give it a 1. The room had a old musty smell and was gross. There was so much mold on the roof and the walls. The carpets had weird stains and the towels were yellow and looked old and unwashed. We had to call staff up to replace it. And we couldn't even call the staff up using the phone in the room because it didn't work. When we asked the staff, they told us to call them from our phones if we needed something. The bathtub was yellow on the inside and looked disgusting to say the least. The a/c is supposed to be clean but it looked like an abandoned object. There was dust and grime all over it, there was no way there would be clean air coming out of that thing. Not only that, but tell me why the room looked like someone would be killed in it. Looked straight out of a Murder Mystery case and not in a good way. The bedsheets looked unwashed and downright repulsive. DON'T spend your money here, go to any other hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pay your money somewhere else where it actually looks and feels decent and not like you might die there...
