Nice challenging terrain, great nature. But be aware of a couple of things when going skiing there for the first time: very poorly marked trails and lack of information about the actual quality of the tracks\trails on the main web site and the grooming web site. The day I skied there conditions were terrible - ice, pools of water and even stones on the tracks, but no word about it on neither of the web sites.
P.S. I lowered my rating of this place after owner’s response. Owner claimed that “ kiosk staff provided complimentary skiing on these days and advice about where to ski“. That was not the case on December 24th when I was skiing there - I paid full price at the kiosk, no free skiing was offered, no warning or advice about conditions was given. Read moreTook up cross country skiing after a 20 year hiatus. A couple of buddies gave me update lessons at KNC. It’s awesome! I now go ~ 3 times a week either with Micher, Abby or the guys. Great sport and great location. Very nice people and great scenery. How difficult is it?
