STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS AND AVOID On August 30th my daughter, her boyfriend and her father stayed in the hotel Baymont by Wyndham Montreal Airport They were in room 205 and immediately noticed bed bugs present. They were then switched to room 216. Staff was reluctant and rude and did not apologize for the inconvenience. Shortly after a cockroach was discovered running across the floor. Within minutes they had killed 5 cockroaches. They were exhausted after a long day and having to change rooms so against better judgement they went to sleep. In the middle of the night they woke up to bed bugs on them and now have bite marks all over. The room was very dirty as well. The glasses were not cleaned. The towels were dirty. There was food left in the fridge from a previous guest. I honestly could not believe the state of the room. We frequently have stayed at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and have never had any problems. They returned home to Ottawa the next day and we found a bed bug last night on her leg. She went to shower right away and there were 4 more found on her body. We are now in fear of a full infestation. I just went to Canadian tire and purchased a steamer and several cans of spray and a bucket of diatomaceous earth in hopes we can stop the spread to our entire household. We have 2 cats and a dog so we are limited to what we can use that will not harm them. My total from Canadian tire was over 200$ I called the hotel and spoke to Audrey who advised me a manager would call me back regarding this. After not getting a call back I called once again and was told a manager will not be in until Tuesday. I said this is unacceptable and then to my shock the employee hung up on me. I sent an email to the hotel and I got the following reply: "I will look into this and get back to you. sorry about your situation that happened to you." What kind of customer service and hospitality is this? The email did not even have a name in the reply! I feel like the hotel is not taking ownership or any responsibility for this ! I cannot believe Wyndham would allow this to continue and would keep renting rooms knowing the hotel is infested with bed bugs and cockroaches! I also am in disbelief that I was hung up on by an employee! I have seen multiple reviews on this hotel with a similar experiences. The hotel refused to give a refund for the night stayed and would not compensate me for my further expenses because of this nightmare. A fun weekend before my daughter goes back to school was completely ruined because of this horror. I now have to also have her boyfriend stay here in our home for at least 2 weeks until we can confirm we are bug free because his parents do not want to get them at...

Airport pick up: I e-mailed them well in advance that I'll be arriving at __ hours and how will you pick me up? But they didn't even care to reply. Then I tried to call them, after baggage collection, 6 times and finally the picked up my call and they told a shuttle will pick you up. I was carrying 4 bags(total of 55kilos of weight) so I asked for a help in keeping those bags in the trunk and all they did is open the door of that trunk!?!
During Check in at the"government approved qurantine hotel": The receptionist, she was one of the rudest women I've ever seen. Always gave rude, angry and frustrated answers to anyone who called her for a query or something.
Service: Arrived, Paid, checked-in, now I was given a room key. Room was on 1st floor and the staircases were too narrow, again I asked them to help me and the reply was "the room is on 1st floor, take a left and then a right you'll find it". So didn't help me at all.
Managed to the room will all my luggage alone, took a quick tour of it, Condition was horrible (stinking), bathroom was very dirty, towels were yellowish, AC worked for one day and then stopped working.
There was a coffee maker with some coffee and sugar but no water!
I slept at 5:00 PM and didn't knew dinner would come at 7:00 PM. Also wasn't told the timing of the meals. Woke up at 1:00 AM and saw nothing outside my room. Called them and they said we came and knocked the door, we don't keep food at your door step.
Next day I saw my breakfast at the door step! Everyday same food, A curry and a giant dry bun. How can we even eat a bun with paneer. The pasta were tasteless. Never had such a terrible lunch and dinner. Everyday same curry!!!
5)If you want to pay for anything (water/food) you'll have to come at the reception and pay it there, or else you are not allowed š¤(Qurantine š¤)?
I'll not even stay there for free.
This hotel doesn't deserve to be approved by the government...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave a 0 star review I would. The booking seemed promising for a one night stay with parking for a week to go on vacation. Easily done online. On arrival, the building was found with a bit of inconvenience from the 520 but we used our brains and got there. We meandered through the airport parking lot, which was incredibly tight. On our way through, we did not see a single open spot. They obviously are trying to maximize income from the lot so cudos to them but to a limit. The parking attendant was driving a brand new dinged up corolla and he did not speak a word of English or French. I went to the front desk and the lady was more intent on getting my money than making sure there was a parking spot available. I told her I wasnāt going to pay until I knew there was a spot available so she made a phone call in a language other than French or English. She said go see the parking attendant and heāll help you out. We went back into the lot and approached him. He didnāt understand a word I said and I couldnāt make out anything he was trying to explain. Eventually I pointed to my vehicle and to a filled parking spot and he understood. He took his banged up Corolla around the lot, scraping the bumper of one car for sure but he made some turns I couldnāt follow in a SUV. I got out and walked over to him. He still didnāt have a spot for me, and I kind of got the impression he was trying to get away from me. He eventually walked over to an aisle and pointed that I should park at the entrance to the section. Literally blocking the rest of the 40-50 cars in that lot. I said no, got back in my vehicle and started looking at other park sleep and fly options. My wife called to cancel, who knows if weāll get our $30 deposit back. While doing this we watched a guy climb into the garbage bin at the front entrance of the hotel. I have a picture of him in it and will try to find somewhere to upload it. At this point we were just enjoying the repeated red flags. We left and walked into the Sheraton down the road and got a $125/night room and paid for regular weekly airport parking which is $120. These two added up to the same price we were quoted...
