During a long road trip, we sopped in Edmunston for one night. Four Points was "sort of" a great choice. It's difficult to write this review, because I'm recommending this hotel, despite not having the best experience. Let's start with the good. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. The free parking (across the street) was practical and safe, and the hotel lobby is beautifully decorated. The wifi worked well and the TV was the perfect size. We enjoyed the stay and appreciated the complementary bottle of water. The safe, iron and board, hairdryer, fridge, microwave and coffee machine were all great amenities to have. Customer service is where things get very inconsistent. The front desk emplee who checked us in was exceptional. We even called for extra pillows and she was so courteous, got the pillows to us within minutes. However, the front desk employee on the morning shift was the complete opposite. When we booked the room it showed breakfast (see picture), so we assumed it's included. When we inquired with the front desk employee, she was very dismissive and rude. The same happened with the housekeeping staff. One was so pleasant with his good morning and big smile. Then seconds later, another employee cut us off at the elevator and goes in first, giving us a look that she was in a hurry. It was obviously rude and ill-mannered. The restaurant is also contradictory. The staff were genuinely friendly and the food is exquisite, but the experience was ruined by how slow the service was. They definitely need extra staff in there.

The hotel it's self is pretty nice. The lobby is done in a beautiful reclaimed wood and iron motif which is just beautiful. We had a suite this time around and while it was nicely appointed, the bathroom had hairs left in both the sink and shower by the previous occupant. This sort of thing makes you uneasy about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The bed is comfortable, but the blinds in our room were not hung properly so there was a 6-8" gap which let in the light all night. Along with the alarm clock which for some reason is super bright, it made for a pretty poor night's sleep. Our room had a lovely view of the church, but also of the post office which seems to get deliveries around 4:30am. For the price, I was expecting a better sleep, but it was still a nice hotel so If you're a sound sleeper who's not bothered by light or noises, this is a good place for you. Be warned that there are only two elevators and they are also used by the housekeeping staff so you may wait a while. The staircases also lead outside rather than to the ground floor so if you're trying to get to the lobby, you may have a bit of a wait.

We arrived at 2am after being on the road for 12hrs with a 6 month old baby. We had requested a crib and told no problems, and what was provided was an unsafe and crooked travel crib with sheets piled high and loosely--not sleep safe at all for a baby. The next morning we saw that the curtains were filthy, and there were hairs in the beds and on the ceiling in the bathroom. When we told the desk manager, they said they would be able to provide compensation, if we go through our original booking agency (Avion Rewards). After going through that process, the hotel denied the request to Avion despite the photographic evidence. Very disappointing overall. Normally we would have been able to complain that same day but given our situation and time, it wasn't possible especially with the baby, so we slept in the room having no other options.

My husband and I and our baby stayed here March 17th (St. Patty's Day). We were traveling last minute to a family emergency and therefore it was quite late (after midnight) by the time we checked in. There was a St. Patty's Day party going on in the restaurant of the lobby, understandably. We went upstairs and there were people partying in the hallway as we walked to our room. That was fine, we got unpacked and into bed to try and get some sleep before we had to continue on our drive the following day. The partying continued, only it was the suite above ours - very loud adults partying, sounded like a large group, which we thought, fine, its St. Patty's Day, things will settle down eventually. At 3:30-4 AM my husband and I are still laying there wide away as the adults in the Suite above us continued to party and then our baby woke as well. It was at that point that my husband called down to the front desk to see if the partying could be shut down as it was around 4 AM, which we figured by then we had been very understanding and patient about, but by then it wasn't even worth our stay as we needed to hit the road early in the morning. My husband even suggested at that point leaving right then, as we were laying awake anyway, we may as well have been in the car driving. Anyway, upon checking out, the front desk clerk did not ask at all how our stay was, just said, "are we charging this to your VISA"? At which point I let her know how our stay was. She said, oh you are not the only one, there is a big long list of people who also complained. I will add your name to the list and our Manager will call and discuss with you. I also mentioned to her at the time that the room was not even up to the standards of cleanliness we are accustomed to from the Starwood hotel chain - the bathroom was full of hair. Anyway, long story short, I never got a call from the Manager, so I reached out and called her and ended up speaking with her. She empathized with our situation and did sound genuinely sorry and said that was not representative of her hotel and that she would look into our file and get back to me. I let her know that it was upsetting because it was our favourite hotel in Edmundston and we always stay there when we drive home. The Manager never did call me back and unfortunately from now on, due to the lack of response and very poor customer service, we will re-evaluate where we stay in the future, including not only for personal leisure travel but also for corporate...

Having received news that a close family was ill I had to travel a long distance on last minute notice. Being tired of the road I stoped in to stay the night at the Four Points by Sheraton in Edmundston New Brunswick. The staff had received my reservation only several hours prior to me arriving. Associate Janik Nado welcomed me at the front desk with a warm welcoming smile and coulo obviously recognize that my trip was not just about pleasure. Without hesitation she quickly and professionally made sure that my room reservations were correct and that I would be well taken care of during my stay. She politely answered any questions I had and informed that there was a little gift and a card that made me feel welcomed and assured me that I had made the right choice in picking the Four Points by Sheraton to stay the night. During my stay I was informed by the Front desk that I was promoted to Platinum status with SPG membership. As I was new to the program I had a few questions. I went to see the one of the people in charge of the front desk, Nancy Alrabadi. Mrs. Alrabadi looked at the information concerning my free night award ans explained the manner in which I could redeem my free night award without complications. It was very pleasant and reassuring to have someone to talk to and discuss any questions that I had regarding this program. Mrs. Alrabadi and Mrs. Nado are positive examples of The Four Points by Sheraton brand and should be commended for their outstanding employee performance. Associates like themselves is what reminds of why I choose to stay at The Four Points by Sheraton in Edmundston New Brunswick!...
