Cinema V — Local services in New Brunswick

This is the only movie theater in Edmundston. It's easy to find and offers plenty of roadside parking. They keep the place fairly clean. The service is usually friendly and pretty fast. The concession stand can get busy but the staff can handle it. This is a locally owned movie theater so you'll want to bring cash. They do have an ATM on site. At worst, you'll be about a 5 minute walk from a variety of banks with proprietary ATMs. Their prices are very fair. Even on release day, you can catch a movie for under $10. They don't offer multiple viewings (only one per day), so you'll be limited in what you can see during a visit. The rooms are pretty small but at least it allows them to show multiple films. The sound can be hit or miss. Sometimes, it's just right. However, usually it's a bit too loud. The sound quality is good, though. I wish they put more effort into creating an experience (e.g., blockbuster release events, movie marathons, nostalgic movie showings, ...) I would also like to see some merchandise for sale (e.g., posters, movie related items and collectibles, ...) It's not much different than watching a movie in my living room, except for the big screen and over-the-top sound. As mentioned, it's the only place to catch a newly released film in the region. What a wonderful movie theater! There are 4 Movie screens. Number 1 is the Largest and seats plenty of people. Usually when the movie first arrives you can see it on the largest screen. They also have 3D movies played here also. I prefer 3D! It so much better! They give you 3D glasses to use and you recycle them after. The Popcorn and Soda is great! Also other Candy...

Went to watch stitch with my family. My three year old daughter was getting frustrated, the movie started 45 mins later than it was supposed to. 9:30pm is a little late for a kids movie to finish.
