This motel is very nice for the price. Very clean! The owner is very nice and was very helpful! Pros: The room was a comfortable temperature and well maintained. It was clean, which is always my biggest concern when traveling. The hospitality was top notch. Tea, coffee, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap is provided for your convienience. Motel is easy to find and it is easy to get to the heart of Niagara. Cons: We weren't impressed with the comfort of the bed (it is a $65 room) but slept ok (we are young & athletic). The decor is very different and rather eclectic but everything functioned like it should so we didn't care. Not a "romantic" type place but again, a clean and friendly place to lay your head down after a long day walking to see the falls. Walls are a little thin but everyone there while we were was quiet. Location: It's a little off the beaten path but not too far at all. As mentioned above it was easy to find and get to and from the "downtown" area. We were without cell service at times but navigated easily (strong wifi in the room helped us plan things out ahead of time). Plan to drive to downtown though. You could walk but not worth it when you can park for $5 to $15 all day depending on how close to the falls you want to park.

Pretty intermediate hotel, adequate for the 2-star rating. Room and bathroom were clean, but not as well-lit as the pictures suggest. Internet reception was intermediate at best. Self-checkin and self-checkout processes were straightforward and the communication with staff was efficient. Biggest issue is the distance between the hotel and the touristic attractions; the lack of public transportation in the area makes it almost impossible to get there unless by car.

I loved this place. Clean, cute, quiet. Management was so helpful and welcoming, highlighting everything on the map and offering suggestions, including free parking in the tourist areas. Our check in time was 3pm, we arrived 12pm and he accommodated is immediately. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I would highly recommend and will be returning in the future.

This place is dirty..un clean and scam nothing like the photos or website.no maid service or wifi..dirty linens like they came out a basement..entered a room full of dust and flies..place seem like ut wasn't clean with no cleaning supplies..air conditioner ran on a timer..on and off throughout the day..in the morning the water was off several times..and sometimes during the day..the place had roaches I seen in bathroom round the sink area..and in bed quarters..no curtains on bathroom or room window..raggdey,outdated and tacky..cauggt management in storage room flicking switches guess turning things off..water and air conditioner..this place crazy and a scam ...poor management..and disgusting..mice running around and squeeking at night on side of bed..never in my life seem a motel like they dont come to change towels ..let alone linens..or bring tissue..the pictures on website scam ..rooms nothing like that..run from motel..its not a place for get away..they ripping people off and seem desperate for money and not providing the services a motel supposed to provide for there money..Espceailly how dirty and nasty and turning off water..the water not even hot lukewarm..and cold at night..I told the owner she said no other rooms had a problem but I think thats because the low income people live there and they look like a shower is the last thing on there mind..look like the Beverly hill billies and tralior trash. This place run don't give them no money..peope of good standards would not waste there money booking a motel room for these living conditions..they are not providing services if a motel..no wifi..bugs..rodents..no maid service.and turning off water and and air conditioner during your paid for stay.Crazy! They need to be reported for false advertising online and people come and there money and then you are hit with tales from the crypt. This was a temporary stay for me here and it was the most poor motel ran I ever seen in history..its a rip off.And management is unhospital to customers...u see no daily cleaning at all..sad..Everthing outdated..need refurbishment. Also holes in walls..sink tore up..and dirty scum shower curtain..mice traps we had to put on sides off the bed cause mice running around.Run from this place!People saying thus place is clean is lieing..there no coffee machines or none of that..and talking about is clean is lies...I was shocked when I seen reviews of such thats why I took the pictures..These rooms nothing like the pictures these people putting in revews that seem like fake reviews I know they wasnt staying here..if that is the case.No decorations..not even curtains..please..This for the Rex Motel in Egg Harbor Township..New...

No Air Conditioning, No Room Service, Poor WIFI - Does not meet the expectations of paying $100/night

Good - Motel has been renovated. Everything is relatively new. Large window for room. Bed was comfortable. Room had good aesthetics with updated touches for furniture.

The Bad - Unfortunately, the Bad is the owners removed all the air conditioners (A/C) from the hotel rooms. Consequently, the room was uncomfortable because it got hot and humid in October. This leads to the Ugly.

The Ugly - As the window had to be left open. The motel is on McLeod Road, which is a very busy street. So, because the window had to be left open I could hear road noise all day and more importantly all night. Was even woken up early in the morning by the back up sounds of a garbage truck. I made the mistake of not double checking if the motel had A/C, as 99.99 % of every hotel / motel I have ever stayed in, A/C is always available. This is a penny wise and pound foolish move, as the southern Ontario summers are extremely hot and humid. This motel will definitely suck in the summer time. To give some credit to the establishment, a fan was made available in the room, although it is NOT a replacement for A/C.

Holes were cut into the walls (exterior and interior) and a vent grill was placed over to hole to try to improve circulation. Again, this is not a substitute to provide A/C.

And, this brings up the next issue, is there any heat in the winter time? I assume a space heater will be provided?

Wifi was weak and kept cutting out. Could not even stream music on the phone, which uses very little bandwith and works with the slowest internet. Had to use my own wireless data from my cellular phone.

No towel rack to hang towels. (Definitely an overlooked detail when they renovated).

**MOST IMPORTANT criticism * I had a two night stay and after the first night, there was no room service provided. Garbage was not picked up and built up over 2 days. Sheets were not changed. Fresh towels were not provided

For almost $100/night I expect a certain level of room service to be provided. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. If I wanted to provide my own room service, then I would rent from an AirBnb where the lower price justifies a lower...
