-We received a text about our entry code, and contact information for the hotel prior to arrival, but did not receive information about our room # until the next morning when planning to leave. There are no staff onsite, so make sure your phone is working while travelling through the area. We had to call to get our room #. Not a biggie.|-Nice hotel, room was large, beds were nice, room and bathroom very clean, could use some extra security on the door, the chain/lock mechanism was broken. |-We could get cell reception in room, had nice TV with some streaming channels. Had USB charging ports for charging phones/etc.|-We got in late from the Tobermory ferry, so parking lot was full due to haphazard parking, and no lines on gravel parking lot. We had to park on the lawn. When we complained, he got rude and said the door was open.. contact the hotel owner she blamed us, saying it was our fault for not locking the door, claiming the kids might have left it open.what kind of hotel staff will have no common decency to knock before entering a guest room !
We were also charged $70 for food stains on the bed sheets, which seemed excessive. Given that we were staying with two kids for several days, minor stains are normal and easily removable with bleach or proper washing. So be prepared for charges
