I ordered the 2 piece fish and chips with an upgraded fry to a poutine. They put my fish on top of the poutine- first mistake.

I also ordered their pizza rolls.

The fish, two very small pieces over cooked and very salty- less salt and the batter would have been delightful? However, still on the pricier side for whitefish (I’m a manitoulin local)

The poutine, cooked with cheese curds which was good, but you could have put my 2 pieces on the side even wrapped in foil?

The pizza rolls. Save your money. I rather eat the leftover buffet at the mosie on inn on a Sunday afternoon.

The $57.00 it cost was a joke. For a place that was once my final stop leaving my families home to head back to the city, is now, a bad taste, overpriced- , has been. I’ll stop at dockside social and get...

Great location right when you come onto the island from Espanola and across from the Beer Store (can't get much better location than that). The food was okay in my opinion, there was nothing wrong with it but everyone has their own tastes and preferences. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries, I had the chicken fingers and poutine. I felt that the fries weren't very crispy and just lacked that texture I'm used to at a chip wagon. The chicken fingers were also okay but unfortunately ran out of plum sauce (had I known ahead of time, I would have ordered something different). Burger also wasn't anything to write home about, but still okay.

The owner was great/super friendly and has made a really good business for himself. We will definitely go back when visiting again but try...

So disappointed in the quality and quantity for the price. I don’t usually write reviews but I could not avoid it today. I have stopped here many times in the past and was looking forward to the delicious fish and chips we’ve enjoyed here on every trip to the island. Two pieces of fish about 2x4 inches about 1/4 to 1/2 in thick on a bed of dry frozen fries with no flavour. The fish was poorly filleted and my 92 year aunt pulled 4 bones from her piece which wasn’t even big enough to satisfy her appetite. Not to mention the fact that it was tasteless. The coleslaw looked like it was 2 weeks old and had little to no taste. Sorry but I would no longer recommend this...

Best fish and chips on Manitoulin Island is what we were told by a local couple… and the verdict is yes! Whitefish, lightly battered, a special Cajun seasoning made from scratch that “you won’t find anywhere else, and home made garlic free tartar sauce make for an amazing experience. The steady stream of customers validates that they’re doing something right. Good food portions - 1, 2, or 3 pieces to handle any hunger need. Grab it to go, or sit out in their patio. You can find them across from the beer store near the Port Bridge. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the island!

Best fish and chips in northern Ontario, perhaps in all of Ontario?? Ordered the 3 piece fish and chips, and it was 10/10. Freshly caught fish that morning that was perfectly lightly battered. Crispy, not oily or heavy at all. Came with homemade tartar sauce (with fresh parsley from the chef’s garden) and a lemon wedge, crispy fries. Chef was so personable and made the service stand out. Can’t wait to come back again.

After crossing the bridge into Little Current, past the Welcome Centre look on your right, Delicious fish! Perfect fries. Owner is very friendly. Cash is king. Do not miss! Fresh and plentyful. Say hello to the girls....they will come out to say hello, very friendly Belgian Shepherd dogs...Mom and daughter. Cleanest porta-potties I havr ever seen.
