Never stay here people, I am shocked as ever I used to stay here often I loved the front desk ladies they were always very kind and thoughtful, but now I had called made arrangements for a room stopped in got my key the front desk man weirded me out intensely and was quite sexist Infact, I ignored it went to my room and there was junkies smoking some kind of drugs out in the open and some sketchy people peeking through the windows starring I got into my room it smelt awful so I went to do the room check as I always do everywhere I stay and the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly there was still pee from the previous guest I pulled the blanket to the foot of the bed there was a nasty crusty looking stain on the sheet and long hairs everywhere like they didn't do the laundry and change out everything, I went to return my key get a refund as I am not staying there at all the manager tried to argue with me said that was my hair and my pee that I'm a liar and didn't want to give me my refund I told him I'm not leaving till I get my money back and that if he wants I can show him my video I recorded of myself and the building as I entered and he didn't still didn't want to give me my money back until I deleted the video I don't even want to put a star but it won't let you post a review without giving a star so ignore this star and this...
Read moreAfter recently being evacuated from our city (due to wildfires) my daughter-in-law, my granddaughter and grandson along with myself ended up in Prince George on an extended stay of almost three weeks - with four pets. Three cats and a dog (Great Dane). This was a bit of a challenge, two of the cats were my daughter-in-laws and they didn't have much exposure to dogs, and my cat is quite timid and would have gotten beat up by her cats. The Camelot had a kitchen suite available which ended up being the perfect solution, and they welcomed us with open arms. ||The Camelot is not a newer motel, but the room was clean, the bed I slept in was newer and very comfy, which is saying something I have slept in a waterbed for years so normal beds are usually a bit of a challenge for getting a good nights sleep. They have an indoor pool which was bonus, and the location was perfect a laundromat right behind the motel, amenities (shopping, hospital and library) nearby easy to get to.||What really makes the Camelot a great place though was the staff, what a great bunch of ladies at the desk and doing the housekeeping. They are friendly, helpful, and fun. Our thanks goes out to the ladies for all the help and laughs they gave us. Yes, I would stay at the Camelot again if I find myself overnighting in...
Read moreI have stayed in a lot of divey hotels, but this one is by far tops. I have never felt so dirty. The maintenance/updating and cleaning list starts at the door, circles the entire room, and ends back at the door. The floor was a layer of grime, there was food on the bathroom floor, the lampshade has a thick layer of...something, the blankets were crusty, ac didn't cool the room down at all, there was 1 rusty frying pan under the sink catching the drips from above, blinds were broken, bedroom curtain didn't stay up, just a big gap where the bathroom drawer? used to be, chair was broken, random pieces of lumber holding things together, mirrors have never been cleaned. I wanted to leave but we had already loaded everything out, and we had a ton of stuff. Unlike other reviews, the lady at the front desk was actually quite nice, and the fridge works so I guess there is good (not really). Bad choice on us, but it had a pool for the lids and I thought I read there was breakfast included but there wasn't. Right down the road is a couple other options that look way better than Camalot. This place seriously needs to be closed down and have a major...
