Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Prince George

Oh, the perfect storm. I walked in and ordered a brewed coffee and a mocha. My debit card appeared to me to go through but the cashier said it didn't. Then it wouldn't rerun, so I paid with my Visa. I was handed my coffee right away as usual. But then . . . I was handed the wrong drink that apparently was for someone in the drive-through. Luckily I cheched before walking off. Then they handed me the "right" drink. I went to our moving van and gave my wife her "mocha" and drove off while sipping my brewed coffee. Then my wife noted a fraud alert on our debit card for the starbucks order, which wasn't a fraud, it was just an out of country charge. So we said it wasn't fraudulent, and the payment then automatically processed, and thus we paid twice for our order! Then 10 minutes later, down the road, my wife took her first sip of her "mocha", nearly spitting it out because it was a brewed coffee, NOT her mocha! And, she can't stand black coffee. So, we're on a 3000 mile road trip, my wife didn't get the morning coffee she needs, and we got charged double for the wrong order. . . And then to top it off, when I picked up my cup for about my third drink, the lid came off and the cup dropped, dumping the whole cup of coffee all over the floor of the van. Maybe it's time to...

The employees are always chipper, helpful, and always kind! They do great, however, if I pay $7+ for a drink, I expect the consistency to be there, and when its not, its very disappointing. I know they can remake the drink if made wrong, but I work full-time, and I dont have time to wait around for the drink to be made right after waiting for my drink the first time. I always order an Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso, and sometimes it's very bitter from lack of proper ratios. Other times, it's too sweet from lack of proper ratios. When it's made the way it's supposed to be, it's amazing. Like I said, the staff are always friendly, kind, patient, etc., and they would absolutely remake my drink, but if I pre-order, that's because I don't have time to be in line. And if I go through the drive-thru, that also means I'm stopping in between errands and don't have time to wait for it to be made and then remade. I'd love if the drink could be made consistently each time, especially considering how much it costs...
