Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sherwood Park Edmonton — Hotel in Sherwood Park

Normally I would give a review telling you how awesome my stay and service was but there’s an incident that’s happening and no one wants to fix the issue so now I will make the matter known. Be very careful of the information you are providing to this hotel because I stayed there on June 20th 2024 which I book through a third party app than I will go in the hotel and pay the 250$ damage fee in which they will take physically from my visa debit card than the next day of my stay they will put the 250$ back when checking out on my visa debit. I have stayed here many times and never once had a issue but 5 days later when I am not even staying at the hotel I looked at my bank statement and noticed June 26th 2024 they had taken 250$ from my bank which I called the bank and they told me the hotel has taken it from my bank. I called the hotel to tell them what’s going on to give a chance to make it right as that payment whether it’s a hold or not as I feel I am getting the run around on it but either way it’s now been 24 hours and still I am out my 250$ from my bank so now I plan on sitting at the hotel until they refund the money they took from my account without me even staying there or my permission. I just want my money back as they are trying to say that this is only a hold but I told her I am the one who is out 250$ right now because of a reason that should not have happened as she’s trying to tell me it’s a bug in the system so be VERY CAREFUL with your card you give this hotel and check your statements because I believe there is way more to the story they aren’t saying and I’ll be getting to the bottom of it.

Update: July 2/2024 after everyone’s hard work to get on this so quickly the hold or bug was corrected and the funds were finally put back into my account. I still don’t like that the system kepted my information as I feel if it wasn’t there this would never happened in the first place but I am just happy the hotel was so quick to correct the issue and I thank the assistant manager and GM let’s just please never run into this problem again specially before the...

Great place to stay-clean, friendly and fully accommodating staffI I had the pleasure of staying in a king suite, and can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. This is a nice quiet hotel in a residential neighborhood, with a beautiful park right across the street. We had a 1 bedrm suite so we could have a kitchenette for the dog & us! The furnushings are sturdy and the king bed very comfortably firm. The living room was adequate but could use an easy chair for extra comfort, with 3 people and big dog the sofa isnt big enough. My son said his hide a bed was very comfortable. The hotel festure free breakfast in their breakfast room. A nice selection every morning, juices, coffee, lattes, tea, hot chocolate. Fruit , 2 selections of fresh hot breakfast ie bacon or sausage, french toast, quiche, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, hashbrowns. Always available , waffles. pancakes, toast bagels mufffins hot &cold cereals . Excellent selection, very pleasant,room.
