It's not that you fall, it's how you pick yourself back up. It's true as a person and it turns out just as true for a restaurant.
My wife and I had a couple pizzas delivered to our house this evening. I was disappointed with the limited selection of gluten free meats but hey, that's my life, and the phone staff was friendly and patient as I reorganized my thoughts and picked new pizzas that would be safe for myself and the family. The delivery driver was very friendly as well, smiled, asked how our day was and all that. Decent start! Then we opened the boxes...
Food is a tricky thing. Appearance and smell are a big part of the enjoyment and while these pizzas smelled good, they didn't quite look right. I won't go into detail here, I'll just say that some pieces were completely missing toppings while others had ones that shouldn't have been there (I don't usually eat the stems of banana peppers, do you?). It technically was what we ordered, just had unappealing mistakes.
The taste was "fine", they were cooked "fine", but that first impression of the meal was offputting enough that none of us felt like we got our money's worth. I'm glad I didn't simply give it 2 stars in a review, both stars being for the service, and call it a day because the next part went above and beyond.
I hopped in the car with the pizzas and headed down to the restaurant location that sent them. I was embarrassed (I hate returning food) but showed the pizzas to the front staff member and she immediately brought the manager up. The manager took one look, called what he was seeing bologna, and without missing a beat asked how he could make it right. Did I want credit, new pizzas right there, "grab a pop on us. We have slushies too!", he was just so understanding and so wonderful. I only had paid for the original 2 pizzas before delivery but he insisted I be marked down for FOUR more free pizzas whenever we want AND that I take free drinks for everybody. What a way to right a sinking ship, man! My embarrassment for the whole situation never really went away but I went from feeling like I was cheated out of money to feeling like a truly valued customer. I was happy!
So if you're like me and something weird happens with your pizza here, I urge you not to rush online to give one star with a scathing review; the staff here will make your money and time worth the while if given the chance to fix it. I'll be back and I'll be smiling. Thank...

I’ve been a loyal customer and have always loved this restaurant for their traditional pizza — it’s genuinely some of the best I’ve had. So when I saw they offered a Keto pizza, I was thrilled. As someone who’s been working hard to stay in ketosis, I was excited to enjoy a “Keto-friendly” treat from a place I already trusted.
The pizza itself was absolutely delicious — no complaints about taste. But afterward, I looked up the nutritional information and ingredients of the crust, and my heart sank. Not only is the carb count way too high to be considered keto, but the ingredients include things like rice flour, tapioca starch, modified rice starch, and cane sugar — all of which are not keto-friendly by any means.
Labeling this crust as “Keto” is completely misleading and, frankly, irresponsible. It’s like calling a pizza with cheese “vegan” or saying a dough made with wheat is “gluten-free.” Mislabeling food like this isn’t just disappointing — it’s unsafe. People with specific dietary needs rely on accuracy and transparency, and this kind of misleading branding can derail progress or, in more serious cases, impact someone’s health.
I feel incredibly let down. I’ve supported and recommended this restaurant in the past, but this experience has made me question the trust I had. I truly hope they revisit how they label this product and begin prioritizing honesty — their customers...
Read moreDidn’t get a chance to even try their food! Went in on a slow Monday, having checked the hours of operation…wouldn’t want to be that guy who shows up 5 minutes before kitchen close. Sign by the door welcomingly glows “OPEN”. Hours listed on the sign say open til 10pm! Enter, walk up to the counter, ask to be seated. Told “ The dining room is closed, it was slow so we decided to only do pick or delivery.” No apology, no nothing. Take it or leave it attitude from the young person behind the counter. I vote leave it! That is really poor service. No note on the door, no “ we sorry”, really poor attitude. As we sat outside contemplating other dine in options, watched as another member of staff approached a table of four young people who were finishing their meal and shoo them out so their table could be bussed. A very poor impression. I’ve worked in the industry…if you decide to arbitrarily shut down a portion of your service, let your customers know about it. Or at least seem concerned about putting them out to satisfy your own lack...
