Fairmont House Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Town of Mahone Bay

Thomas is a wonderful host, making you feel welcome in his grand old home. Our room had a large king sized bed, very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is large as well with 2 sink and a deep sunken tub/ shower. The bay is across the street although some gravel trucks obstructed our view. But in saying that, it is walking distance to the bay, shops and restaurants. |Thomas puts on a fabulous spread for breakfast. He serves you in his formal dining room where you get to meet the other guests staying there. You have fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, smoked salmon, cheeses and banana bread. We stayed at the Fairmont House B&B recently and really enjoyed it.. Thomas was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. The rooms were clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, and lots of natural light. Breakfast was great (and for me in particular, I really liked the smoked salmon & my eggs). The house has been beautifully renovated and the open staircase was a marvel and we loved all the chandeliers, and the rocking horse! A wonderful B&B in such a beautiful location! My husband and I, and our dog, spent 3 wonderful nights here at the end of October. Tom was such a gracious and welcoming host.

We came down from our room and there was a beautiful spread for breakfast on the dining room table. Tom then offered to make us eggs, pancakes, bacon and other breakfasts delights. It was more than we could have ever asked for.

The house is so charming, and comfortable and Mahone Bay is beautiful!

I cannot recommend this...
