What a wonderful place! The number of tea varieties is frankly staggering. The decor is warm and whimsical, a word not used often enough, and if you fall in love with a teapot, you can buy it and make it yours… but NOT the octopus! That one’s mine when we get back there! Someone complained about the coffee?! It’s made with a terrific Jura machine you can watch avidly as your coffee streams out. The standard is a French roast bean, bracing for the coffee weak of heart. Tame it with cream and sugar or strap on your Viking and drink it black! We plan to sample others in the future with some of the delicious blueberry scones or chocolate dipped cookies. Overall, a fabulous stop in between knick knack haggling and highly recommended!

Such a lovely little coffee spot! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming: you can tell there’s real care behind every detail. I loved the variety of coffee options, and the way everything is served in charming, unique cups made it feel even more special. There are just a couple of small tables (and a little more outside), which makes it feel calm and intimate, perfect for a quiet moment alone or a catch-up with a friend. The service was warm and friendly, and everything was spotlessly clean. You don’t just come here for the coffee (which is delicious!), you come for the feeling.

We had a chai latte and an iced London Fog, and both were absolutely disappointing. I’ve traveled to many countries and know how good tea should taste. These drinks were incredibly mild and watery. How can a London Fog taste like water? It felt like there was almost no milk in it. Additionally, the drinks came in takeout containers without us asking, even though we had them in the store—what a waste. I can’t believe they charged $13 for these two incredibly disappointing teas.

From the second you step into Spill the Tea in Home Bay, nostalgia hits like a warm hug-poetic vibes everywhere, begging you to sit, sip, and scribble your soul onto paper. The staff? Total rockstars-smiling, genuinely happy to chat and mix teas like they're scientists mixing up magic. You're surrounded by artful displays of teacups, teapots, endless tea blends, and assortments of unique items for any tea lover-from packaged teas and my go-to blueberry fog, to rare spices, fragrant curries, and killer food treats you won't find anywhere else. Everything sparkles like it's enchanted, the music hums just right, that new logo draws me in like a savoring sip. And leaving? Pure bliss-I always grin spotting the mermaid tucked among the trees. Every visit leaves me inspired-can't...

This place is always one of our go-to stops on our day trips to Mahone Bay. We were sad to lose the market location in Halifax on Saturdays, but just means more trips out to Mahone Bay (which is never a bad thing). We love their blueberry, earl gray, coconut calypso and Christmas morning teas - we have a regular supply of them in our cupboard. Their iced teas also make an excellent treat while wandering the streets. I love some of the recent additions, like the jams and jellies shop. They also have an excellent selection of tea and giftware. Staff are always friendly and attentive. We love that they have sample jars of each tea so you can see/smell it....
