Our recent stay at this hotel was a very unpleasant experience. We have booked the hotel through a package with Priceline. We booked a standard king room. Upon arrival at the hotel on February 12, 2025, at around 8;30 pm, the front desk clerk handed us our key and told us we have two queen beds. I immediately told her we paid more for a king bed. She then called the manager. An Indian man came out and told us, they do not have any king beds available, and it up to us. After traveling for fourteen hours with layovers, we decided to take the queen beds for the night. Hoping to find another hotel in the morning. However, just after settling in about an hour and a half. The same manager called and told us that he has a king room, and he wants to upgrade us. My wife told him we were too tired to move, but we will accept the offer in the morning. The next morning, we were given the keys for the king room. Upon checking the king room, the room was the identical room I had originally booked. This room was, however, across from the coin laundry room, which | continually runs, And the ice machine, which makes ice all night. Not only that, but the room next to us, the toilet was automatically flushing every five minutes, and there is a motion sensor in our room that turns off the heat at night. Therefore, upon laying down the heat in the room stop working. The room was freezing the following day we expressed or concerns they said they do not have any other available room. I asked them for another blanket, they told me they do not have extra linen to give to rooms.|I called Priceline and told them I would like to move from the hotel due to the present condition. Priceline said the hotel would not offer a refund. I personally ask the manager to refund my account. He said they can only deal with Priceline. Therefore, the hotel manager was pushing us around. I eventually asked and paid $20 to one of the housekeepers to get us a blanket. The following day I checked out ahead of our schedule date. And checked into another hotel. I lost my initial money because Priceline also was not helpful. This property is a disaster. They divided the parking lot to accommodate a Tesla charging station, and the other half where guests are using, they are also leasing those to heavy trucks during the night. Making it impossible to find a parking space at night. unpleasant situation. The rooms and the property in general is fairly clean, staff are nice but are powerless under rigid management. Small bath towels and are equivalent to that of sandpaper. Terrible situation here at this hotel they are actually trying to spin straws into gold by depriving...
Read moreI was very pleased with pretty much all significant aspects of my stay: sufficient parking in a well-lit parking lot that "felt secure"; a friendly, fast, and efficient check-in; a clean and comfortable room; spacious bathroom; comfortable bedding and linens; good WiFi and extensive TV channel selection; quiet environment; pleasant decor; well-maintained and inviting common areas.||The complimentary breakfast buffet had a nice variety of hot and cold offerings, ranging from healthy options like oatmeal and yogurt to some indulgences like a pancake machine and gooey warm cinnamon rolls, and also eggs and sausages. The outdoor seating was a nice option for this mid-August visit.||I like that the hotel has a stairway connecting the lobby to the second floor, and also to the lower level where the gym and pool are located. When it was necessary to use the elevator, it was nice that there were two of them (many low-rise hotels have only one).||The only significant "complaint" I would offer is that the fitness center could use an upgrade and expansion. It has only an exercise bike, a treadmill, an elliptical machine, and a weight bench. It was crowded both mornings of my stay. Moreover, the elliptical machine was a bit annoying as it kept beeping for no reason and the resistance as displayed did not consistently match the resistance as experienced (for the record: I am fairly dedicated to my fitness regimen and know my way around cardio equipment and how to work the controls thereof). On the plus side, the gym offered towels and a water dispenser.||A minor suggestion is that while I appreciate the in-room refrigerator, I always like it when a small hotel refrigerator includes a freezer compartment (usually a metal tray at the very top) so that I can re-freeze my reusable ice blocks that I use to keep things cool in my cooler.||The hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants and other businesses, and access to/from Hwy. 1 is pretty easy.||If I were to return to the area, I would highly consider...
Read moreUpdate** Based on your response "As such, the reservations were canceled by Expedia, not by our hotel, due to this violation of their terms. Our sales manager even tried to offer alternative accommodations the same day, but it seems the communication did not go as we had hoped" These reservations were made Sept 27th. Why did you wait until 3 days before the actual reservation to make any sort of communication? Why did you not try and at least reach out to understand the requirements? Your response of "communication did not go as we hoped" is a bit misleading. You made it clear that you never had those 14 rooms to begin with. So how were we able to make the reservation to begin with? Also, when we communicated with you, under 5 minutes after getting that email to rebook, your person watched as those rooms disappeared. Also, a few days before this issue, we called to change the CC information, and your person at the desk could see our reservation and made no mention of anything.
This is more of a drop of responsibilty on your end.
Booked 14 rooms there for a basketball tournament this Thanksgiving weekend. Three days before arrival, the hotel just automatically canceled our reservation without warning or at least talking to us first. Now we are scrambling to find other rooms so that we are not stranded. BRUTAL SERVICE!! All we got in response when we called them asking for an explanation was "Sorry, we are full" How do 14 rooms get booked up in the matter of minutes. Also, they said they never had 14 rooms to reserve to begin with.... UMM WHAT?!?!?
