This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a hotel. To start, it was impossible to speak to someone at front desk to book our rooms. It took the entire bridal party weeks to speak with someone and to sort out a room that was already saved for the wedding party. We specifically asked for email confirmation, which we never received. When questioning the undelivered email, the front desk got defensive and claimed we never sent our email addresses over, which we had proof we did. We had no complaints about the actual room and hotel itself, it was very clean and spacious. The service of the staff however was inexcusable. We were staying at this hotel for my best friends wedding, including all of the bridesmaids/groomsmen and their partners. Almost every individual had a problem with their room being ready on time for check in. Multiple people had to go to the rehearsal with their luggage because the staff weren't finished, although promised check in at 4. We were not welcomed nor were the staff friendly at check in. This left a bitter taste to start our weekend, especially considering we drove from all over Canada. At check out, we had several charges done to our room without our knowledge (pet fees, parking, and charged twice for the room) which were all incorrect. Once communicated with the front desk about these charges, they were very rude. They told us it’s our responsibility to tell us if we didn’t bring pets or didn’t use their parking. This is absurd. None of us had any pets with us nor did all of us use the parking. To top it off, due to the additional charges we aren’t able to get a refund up to 10 business days. I would like someone to reach out to me and explain why the lack of service...
Read moreMake no mistake, this is a party hotel, not a spa hotel. Went for a relaxing weekend but this was not the place. Hotel was packed with sports teams during the day and party people at night.
I've never seen a hotel have to bring in outside security to watch the lobby at night except on New Years Eve, and this was not NYE.
I drove back after dinner and someone had parked their car blocking the entrance to the parking structure, there was no way in. Hotel didn't seem to care at all, I drove around back, all that parking was full as well. Keep in mind I paid for parking at the hotel. I ended up having to pay for an outside structure all night, as the car never moved. I checked at 4 AM and the car was still blocking the only entrance to the garage.
If you wanted more proof this is a party hotel, this was my Do Not Disturb sign, at no point did they feel it was necessary to replace this.
The pool is one of the smallest I have seen at any Marriott property and also the coldest. It may be heated but they are trying hard to save on the bills obviously. I was shivering the whole time I tried to swim.
None of the ice machines were working, I had to try 6 different floors before I found one that was actually operational. There was also no glasses in my room besides the bathroom ones.
I would not stay here again, overpriced for the level of...
Read moreThis is my second review for the Delta because the staff and the experience here are truly exceptional. I travel frequently for work(domestic/International), and I can confidently say this hotel is my absolute favorite.||||The staff here unique—genuinely kind and always attentive. From check-in to check-out, my stay is flawless. My room is always spotless, thanks to Hélène, who goes above and beyond, even adding thoughtful extras for my longer stays.||||The front desk team—Melanie, Carla, and Manon—are incredibly welcoming and consistently offer great advice on local restaurants and activities in the area. Denis and Mia are always around and ready to help, making my stay even more comfortable.||||If I'm not dining out, the on-property restaurant is my go-to. The food is excellent, the ambiance is quiet, and the staff, Alexia and Alexandra, make every dining experience enjoyable.||||The hotel's location is another huge plus—right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to many great restaurants. If you're in the mood for something casual, I recommend Le Pot or Mezcal Taqueria. If you're looking for something more upscale, try Le Buck.||||As you can tell, I'm pleased with every aspect of this hotel. I always look forward to coming back, and I can't recommend this...
