A Delightful Dining Experience at Angeline
My recent visit to Angeline was an absolute delight, exceeding expectations in every aspect—food, service, and ambience. From the moment we walked in, the vintage Italian decor transported us to a charming trattoria in the heart of Italy. The warm, inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable evening.
We started our meal with the crispy shrimp, a perfect appetizer. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, with a golden, crunchy exterior that gave way to tender, juicy shrimp inside. The balance of flavors was impeccable, with a hint of spice that enhanced the overall taste without overpowering it.
For the main course, we indulged in two dishes: the classic Alfredo pasta and the Venezia pizza. The Alfredo pasta was rich and creamy, with a sauce that clung beautifully to the perfectly cooked fettuccine. Each bite was a luxurious experience, showcasing the chef’s mastery of this beloved dish.
The Venezia pizza was a revelation. The combination of fresh ingredients and expertly crafted pasta created a dish that was both flavorful and satisfying. The light, yet flavorful sauce complemented the pasta wonderfully, making it a standout on the menu.
The service at Angeline was equally impressive. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Their recommendations were spot on, and their enthusiasm for the menu added to our enjoyment of the meal.
The ambience of the restaurant, with its vintage Italian look, was the perfect blend of cozy and elegant. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and comfortable seating created an environment that was both relaxing and refined, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Overall, Angeline provided a dining experience that was nothing short of exceptional. With fantastic food, top-notch service, and a charming atmosphere, it’s a place I’ll gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for an outstanding...
Read more1st time eating here:. Service: Good service 3/5🌟 waitress very attentive, maybe because it wasn't busy at time. Food: 2/5🌟 we ordered an antipasto, the squid(calamari) was overcooked, old or refried from yesterday. Bruschetta, tomatoes should be smaller and lacked seasoning and flavor. Main course: 0/5🌟 I ordered the calzone, had 2 bites with pepperoni and the rest of the calzone was totally empty, I told the waitress when she picked up my dish and the restaurant still charged me for the full meal, even if 98% of my meal stayed on my plate. Presentation: 0/5🌟 got a BIG empty calzone berried under a very large amount of tomato sauce and cheese. It looked like they were hiding something. Oh! Yes! an empty calzone. Gordon Ramsay would not be happy with this dish.🤬 To compensate for the bad calzone, they offer me dessert or a fancy coffee to choose from the dessert platter. Since, I don't eat desserts, I picked one of the fancy coffees, and what did a get you ask, a regular coffee 😂. My friends all had pasta dishes, the plates looked good, but not sure if they liked it, since only 1/5 finished everything, as for the rest a little less than half went to the garbage. Place: Nice ambiance, I liked the seating arrangement, it's different, but not easy to get to your seat. Since it's Italian, I was hoping for some beautiful Italian music, we got dance music instead. Price: 2/5🌟$$$$ it's like any other overpriced Italian restaurant. Paying 18$ to 29$ for a plate of pasta it's ridiculous, especially when you know the price of pasta and even if the pasta is freshly made. I never pick Italian as a restaurants.( No, it wasn't my choice) Would I go again, good question 🤔 only if I had no other choice, but...
Read moreThis is the worst Italian food I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. We went here once before, and the food was fine - good enough for a second try- but this time it made us decide to never go back.
I had the pasta with basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto. The pasta was oddly sweet and the chicken that came with it was ridiculously salty. None of the flavors worked together.
The ambience inside is cute, but it was ruined by the blaring music of what seemed to be a 90s hit playlist. So odd for an Italian themed interior. To top it off, our water came in plastic promotional beer glasses. Not what you would expect when each entrée is about $30.
The servers seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people. They were nice enough, but there were just not enough servers to go around to give service. My plastic water glass was empty halfway through and I never got any more water.
If you think of going to this restaurant, go right up to it, turn around 180° and go to LePot. The food and a...
