Hostal Casa Damasco — Hotel in Ancud

We decided to stay in Ancud 1 night on our way to Castro cause we were tiered. |It turned out to be our best decision. We found this hostel that's a privet beautiful house who rents only 3 doubles with private or shared bathrooms. . U can see the bay from most windows and in the rooms|The interior is beautifully furnished with local crafts the living room and dinning room are large and airy. There is a fireplace ready for the gusts to use. And the kitchen is fully equipped. |The hosts, Eduardo and Jose Lewis are very friendly and helpful. we liked the place so much we stayed there few days. We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Casa Damasco Chiloé Hostel in a double room. We stayed 2 nights whilst we explored Ancud. |Jose Luis and Eduardo have a great place here in the centre of Ancud. A short walk from the Cruz Del Sur terminal or a £1 taxi from the old terminal, the hostel is just down from the main square which is where you want to be whilst in Ancud. |The room was comfy, the beds the cosiest we'd slept in in a long while! Breakfast was nice too. |But it was the two owners that made us enjoy our stay as much as we did. They were extremely friendly and gave us all the information we needed. At a central location in Ancud and quiet with enough communal space. Facilities such as hot shower and shared kitchen are basic, but function well. WiFi overall worked well. Beds are comfortable. They have heating which is a plus, considering it can be cold in the morning and evening. Very friendly helpful staff communicative with guests.
