The hotel is falling apart. The rooms are rusty (not a metaphor), tired, dirty, but appalling facilities, ugly bedding, unpainted walls, old systems... Truly truly ugly. Rooms are terrible in a nutshell. ||||The rest of the hotel is not bad. Location is good, you can hear the waves at night, the pools are nice, breakfast is served in a nice location overlooking the ocean. One problem with the pools is that parents let their children treat like a kindergarden facility with their children screaming their heads out without any restraints from families or staff. I had to leave due to the noise. Unusual for me, but it was seriously loud.||||WiFi quality was poor, staff were slow (a common thing in Chile, old fashioned systems die hard) but pleasant (not the norm in Chile), and there is plenty of free parking (you need a car in Arica).||||This review isn't complimentary BUT this is the best Arica has to offer after looking around in terms of accommodation so you may be stuck with this property.||||One word of advice to management: Please fix the rooms, you cannot have rusty appliances, broken curtains, peeled walls, dirty linen. Please, this isn't that hard.||||I cannot not recommend it because the other options seemed much...

Made a reservation to bring my dog. I specifically checked on google for that filter, and made a two night reservation, in non-consecutive nights. As the day approached, I called the hotel to remind them I was coming with my dog, and they said it was fine. When I arrived is when they made a problem about when I checked in. They complained to me that they were not a pet-friendly hotel despite that I made sure that it was the case. Still, nothing else transpired. When I came back for the second night reservation, they gave me their pet policy, which they claimed it was "not a new policy," and downgraded me to a different hotel room, because that's what their policy dictated, which in fact nothing was mentioned as to in which rooms the dog could be hosted. Imagine being downgraded just for one night, despite that we were already checked in the original room? It felt that we were kicked out.
The hotel personnel were great and kind, except for their manager. She was arrogant and disregarded that I made sure I checked with the hotel that everything was ok before...
Read moreWe stayed the hotel Last week while waiting for a delayed flight and it was a great place to kill time with the kids. The hotel has three small pools all well maintained and with a great view of the sea and Morro. We stayed in one of the cabins which can cater for up to 5 adults, it was OK nothing out of this world but comfortable and quite. the restaurant also was quite good, breakfast was my favourite with the chef really celebrating local flavours in simple ways. I loved the passion fruit cream pies an freshly squeezed fruit juices. The staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. Its location is great for surfers or those looking for somewhere away from the high rise apartments and hotels in the other parts of the city and the hotel backs on to a nice little beach. The only recommendations i could offer would be the out dated decor, and maybe a better cable service or netflix in the rooms. Everything...
