Hotel Rocas de Bahia — Hotel in Caldera

We spent a weekend here... well, they need to domsome investment here, basic investment, with an amazing view to the beach, it was very promesing, white, huge, in front of the beach, good parking lot, it was just to expect the best of this place but.... sadly the early check-in I requested was not only never answered but never worked at all, got the room 37, we went in and walls were|Broken, little spiders behind the side table on the master bedroom, humidity all over the room, painting falling from walls, smell was simply a sign of abandom, windows dificult to be opened, old towells etc.... so we felt like we got the worst room in the whole hotel.. we requested a change, the personnel after the first rejection was really kind and worked out our request, we got the room 33, basically the same but in much lower scale, much much better than room 37 but still something they need to improve, it is not a cheap place, it could be really nice spot with some investment.|Personnel was so nice helping out with prborms they know they have that they|Made us feel good anyway..|Bahia inglesa is simply a beatiful place,...

Booked a family holiday of 7 days, the room good.. large 2 toilettes and great ocean view. The staff at reception from Monday to Friday, not very polite, a bit arrogant, they don't speak english and don't go out of thier way to assit in anything.||The Hotel is well presented, but NOT appropiated for elderlies as there are not lifts. Breakfast is serve on top level, so is the bar and restaurant. The food is okey, and a bit overpriced. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe's along the road. The pool need a better clean up and maintenance.||Bahia Inglesa is a great place to rest as nothing happens overnight, great place for families and quite getaway. Beautiful view and calm sea. I was happy to see many families with the elderlies and young children on the beach. Don't expect room service, NONE. Parking facilities YES.||Will I go back? The place is an art deco beatiful hotel and has just been redecorated. It shows they got a professional decorator that captured the original architecture and gave it a hip twist. The place is beatiful right now.||The staff was very gentle and the rooms have a lot of space with a great view of the sea. Well located in the center of Bahía Inglesa, right in front of the beach.||The problem is the hotel still behaves like an old hote, so it has the problems that more modern hotels try to avoid. Por example, having thin towels or a breakfast with pastry that is not fresh. The pool is great and they have a lot of place like the bar to take "instagram pictures".||The restaurant was closed when we went, even though they said on e-mail that it would be open. Overall a great place and I will probably go back, but still has the problems associated with old school...
