La Bicicleta Hostel — Hotel in Cochamó

I had one of the nicest stays I've had in Chile when I stayed with Sixto and Edith at their hostel. I first met the owner when I arrived in town and needed to get to the start of the trail to La Junta, and Sixto offered me a taxi ride there. When I returned to Cochamo after the hike without anywhere to stay, they welcomed me in and made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Edith makes the best home made breakfast - especially the manzana pie and bread rolls. Sixto and Edith went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable — they dried and folded our soggy clothes after our multi-day hike to La Junta, they fed us the most incredible homemade breakfast of cakes, breads, spreads, tea and coffee and gave us insightful recommendations on where else to visit in the region. ||The rooms are quaint with beautiful views of the lake. Next time in town I will definitively stay here again! Sixto and his wife Edith are excellent hosts, always taking care of you and your experiencia in this place.
