I was there on a weekend. It felt like a cozy homestay with a nice kitchen and dining room, and the hostel operators and their young family hanging out in the common area most of the time. They are friendly but don't speak much English, so expect limited communication if you don't speak Spanish -- and have your phrasebook handy!||||Breakfast is set out for you at the dining table and mine consisted of coffee/tea, a cup of yogurt, a pack of cereal, and a ham & cheese sandwich. I was very happy with it :)||||Note for light sleepers: You might need earplugs. The homestay operator had their friends over one night, so their kids were playing together in the courtyard till about midnight. Due to the design of the building, you can't avoid hearing noise from the courtyard if you have a room there and especially if you are a sensitive sleeper. ||||The window blinds don't block out the courtyard lights either, so you might have to go switch those off yourself and/or don a sleeping mask if you need total darkness to rest well.||||My room was close to the smoking area so that would have bothered me if there were guests using that space to light up, but as it turned out there were none during my stay.||||Good showers, although the showerhead is installed a bit too high up for anyone shorter than,...
