CABAÑA DEL MAR RAPA NUI — Hotel in Easter Island

During our stay in Rapa Nui, Rosie was our host at the accommodation. She came to pick us up from the airport with warm and welcoming smile and put on the nice leis on us. On our way to the accommodation, Rosie gave us so much helpful tips and information about the island since she is indigenous. We very much appreciated her with her fast response to our texts when we had questions. She was also kind enough to do laundry for us. When we arrived at the cute house with the gorgeous ocean view, we knew we had made the best decision for choosing this accommodation with Rosie. On our departing day, Rosie also surprised us by giving us a stone-made Moai, she said this is a special gift to protect our family. When Rosie knew we didn’t have a chance to see the sea turtles, she offered to show us on our way to the airport, which she also dropping us off with no extra cost. A MAGIC experience! Rosi is a truly superb host, always attentive and available. The combination of being a local Rapa Nui and having lived in Sweden is really perfect. Simply adorable!

The cabin/house is outstanding with all equipment that one needs. We had a hard time getting up in rhe morning from the master bed...it was just too comfortable!! The location is hard to beat... a view of the ocean that one normally can only dream of. Private, no neighbours, and yet walking distance to town.

We spent 4 wonderful nights at Oasis, lovely perfect house with the most stunning views. Rosi was the most amazing, kind, friendly host you can ever wish for. She was also our tour guide, and we hired her nephew as our guide for the caves too. At the end of our 4 nights, we really feel that we new have a friend on Rapa Nui. The island is magic!...
