Mirlo’s Hostel — Hotel in Futaleufú

A boutique hostel with thick comfortable mattresses and beautiful fresh bedding. The private room with private bathroom was spacious and perfectly clean. Taking a peak at the two dorms with 4 beds it looked very appealing, too. The owners are young, helpful and knowledgeable not only about the local area but the whole of Patagonia. There are two kitchens, inside and outside so plenty of space to prepare your own meals. Breakfast can be ordered additionally for 5000 pesos : big waffle with bananas and jam and coffee or tea, a good deal. The price of the hostel for the private room is incredible, so book early. Wifi works great, hot shower is hot, the location is close to everything in town and they will help you arrange...

Looks like a normal house from the front, but you are welcomed by Mirlo, yes the actual dog, when you walk through the gate. This hostel has an awesome outdoor hangout and outdoor kitchen if the inside kitchen gets a little cramped. The rooms are spacious but pretty noisy because its all wood to seperate them. Kitchen/downstairs does not open until 8 so be aware of that if you are getting up early. The staff was awesome and super helpful with getting us setup for fishing spots and a rafting guide. We will stay here...

Super clean and cosy hostel with super attentive staff, marvellous views and two supersweet dogs. Had an amazing time here and ended up staying much longer than anticipated :D Owners are friendly and will help you with any doubts you might have. Everything is super clean, showers are great and you can use an outdoor and an indoor kitchen. If you plan on visiting Futaleufú, I highly recommend...
