7K Lodge Farellones — Hotel in Lo Barnechea

The name is a non-specific as its a company name that has two different lodges. The newer lodge is in a decent location close to a few restaurants but it's on the main road and so can be noisy. The main floor of the building is newer and nice but rented out like a hostel. The bedrooms which are found below the main floor are very, very small so they can pack a bunch of them in. The room size is reminiscent of a Tokyo hotel, just more expensive. We also had an issue with the rates as we were not provided with the final price until after our stay was over. It was more than twice what was expected and more than I have ever paid for a hotel anywhere in the world. Be sure to get the bill up front and be ready for some postage stamp sized rooms. El lodge es increíble, muy bien equipado y ambientado. Se nota la preocupación en cada detalle, las camas son muy cómodas con plumones bastante abrigados aparte de la calefacción en dormitorios y bosca a leña en la zona común. La vista desde la terraza es inigualable, el hot-tub permite tomar un baño de relajación viendo las estrellas y el hermoso paisaje. Posee una salida directa al cerro donde a 5 minutos se puede llegar a un sitio espectacular para ver el atardecer, y a 30 minutos de trekking se puede bajar a un río con mini cascadas muy bonitas. Por último, la atención de Inés es insuperable, muy atenta y simpática siempre alerta a cualquier problema o necesidad que se presente durante la estadía.
