My son and I just got back from a few days at Powder Lodge as part of a tour through Powderquest. Our experience was just as great as the majority of the other reviews on this site. Christian and his team are great hosts and you really feel at home in this highly-personalized lodging experience. If you are willing to walk 150 yards in your ski boots, this is a "ski-in" place, and we understand that they will help you with transport to the ski areas if necessary. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable and the living spaces are inviting - in fact, the smallness of the rooms encourages mingling with the other guests in the common areas, which is a real positive. The wood-fired half-barrel hot tub is a hoot (and very comfortable), and the food was fantastic. The après-ski snacks were tasty and filling and the family-style meals very enjoyable. I don't know if I will ever get back to Chile to ski, but if I do I would definitely stay at the Powder Lodge.||||One fun tidbit - Christian literally gave me the shirt off of his back the first night we were there. He had invited the guests to join him at a private party and when I said that I would only go if he gave me a Powder Lodge shirt to wear at it, he pulled his off and handed it over. Of course I had to go to the party then - suitably attired! My best souvenir...

You feel like family when your there.||||Spent 5 days enjoying their amazing breakfast, they took us up to the mountains or secured us a ride, brought us back, and the dinners were incredible. Honestly some of the most amazing dinners and discussions around the XL wooden table with other guests and our hosts. The red wine that flows throughout dinner is excellent and somehow I was not hungover (even after a very late night our last night). I cannot recommend the Powder Lodge enough.||||The rooms are small but adequate, the common spaces comfortable, the hot tub feels so good (its a throw back with a wood burning fireplace submerged in the water), sauna was awesome. When you get back from skiing you just drop your gear and the team takes care of everything. You head in and enjoy the amenities, at some point apps are served and then the incredible dinners. I do not eat fish and Christian prepared an excellent steak instead which is no easy feat at 7-8-9000 ft (I can't remember the elevation).||||I cannot recommend these...
Read moreCristian delivers a true Chilean ski experience. This is authentic… you feel like a friend the second you walk through the door. All of your needs are met. I can’t think of a moment at the lodge when I was not smiling or laughing. I celebrated my birthday while staying at the Powder Lodge. Of course, Cristian went all out and made it a great time. The lodge is not huge or sprawling, but affords you plenty of comfortable areas to relax with friends after long ski days in the Andes.||Maybe the best features are the wood fired hot tub and sauna. To quote Cristian, ‘the sauna is perfect’. He said it to me every day. He was spot on.||This guy is one of a kind and his team works tirelessly to make sure you are happy, fed and comfortable.||I cannot say enough great things about this place or group of people.||Skiing in the region can present challenging logistics, but as a home base Powder Lodge is convenient to skiing and one of my best ski...
