Hostel Chaman — Hotel in Osorno

Stayed for 1 night and it was superb

Summary of key points: Room - not overly spacious but big enough Bed - we had a double room, bed is very comfortable Wifi - wifi across the hostel good Power and lighting - plug and bedside light Breakfast - breakfast is $4000, we didn't try it. Shower - shared facilities but were good, warm showers. Security - secure entrance to property and locks on doors Laundry - yes but didn't use Tours - didn't ask but owner is very helpful Cooking - kitchen facilities for self catering are great to cook a meal in. Common room - large common areas is good with a few sofas Atmosphere - very quiet Location - very central, we felt very safe walking. Bars and restaurants nearby, and around the corner from the bus station Cost - very expensive, but a high end hostel, you get what you pay for.

A lovely little find in the city of Osorno. A charming hostel, really a step above all the others I’ve stayed at during my trip in Chile. The kitchen is definitely the highlight of this place—well-equipped, with quality cookware, not the old pots you usually find in hostels, but nice, proper pots that make cooking a pleasure. The kitchen is spotless. The lady running the hostel is super friendly....

Habitación pésima, necesitaba habitación privada con baño privado no tenían.. obligado a compartir baño.. luego el agua de la ducha.. más de 30 min perdí esperando a que saliera caliente.. si se está duchando alguien, tienes que esperar a que termine para que te pueda salir caliente el agua... la habitación ENANA.. la ventana era sellada por lo que no tenía ventilación natural.. y para más encima tenia pelos la cama...no tenían calefacción en la habitación.. y en la noche cuando estaba viendo tv en área común (porque la habitacion no tenía tv) la recepcionista tomo el control y me la cambio sin si quiera consultar si estaba viendo... si pongo un 2 y no un 1 es porque las recepcionistas que estaban de dia eran DEMASIDO amorosas ♥️ un encanto.. pero como habitación y servicios pesimooooooo... aparte que hacen “descuento” para no dar boleta.. y cuando pides boleta te suben el precio 🤦🏻‍♀️ .. el desayuno no está incluido y vale $4.000...malo también porque no hay...
