I checked int the hotel at 2:00pm. It was a hot day. I promptly turned on the air conditioning. It was very loud and didn't cool the room. I requested a room change. Foundout the new room air conditioner was quiet but really didn't cool the room. I also asked for an iron and ironing board when I checked in. One is not automaticly provided. At 4:00, 6:00 and 9:00pm I repeated the request. I was there on business and needed to iron my clothes. At 9:00pm the manager explained that "they couldn't find the iron" Really? a 108 room hotel and they only have one iron? No iron for my appointment the next day. I got back to my room and the iron was there but no ironing board. WTF? That night while laying on my bed I noticed a small bump in the sheet. Upon examination I found a makeup pencil lid. My room had been made up that day. Did this item get stuck in the laudry or did they not change the bedding from the previous guest and I only found this item the next day. Again I went down to the front desk. What else, There are no resturants near the hotel so you are stuck. It is only open after 7:00pm, but they will make you a mystery sandwich on demand. Do you like hotdogs and scramble eggs for breakfast? There is only one small vending machine in the lobby. They do not exchange currancy. There isn't an ATM in the hotel. Closest one next door and is only only 9:00-2:00. I didn't have to pay for the room, my client did, I was not finishing for comps...

Where to start. First of all, spend a little more and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Here's why this maybe was one of the worst hotel experiences ever.|After a very early and long morning flight I arrive to the Santiago airport. I booked this hotel so I could get the free transportation from the airport which is included. When I get to the Transvip desk, they can't find my name. Apparently the hotel is supposed to send an email with my name. They never did. It took a half hour to resolve.|When I arrive, they drop me at Spark Hotel- but I booked Manquehue hotel- apparently they changed the name but no one EVER sent me a message and there was no communication whatsoever regarding this change. Would have been helpful. They didn't really seem to care much.|It took 20 minutes to check in. I don't know why. Nothing was explained, so I just waited. And waited.|The room. Nothing special. Toilet ran constantly. The shower didn't drain. There was a couple inches of water after my 15 minute shower. Also, there were bottles of shampoo and shower gel- and they were half empty. GROSS!!! So someone already used them??|The restaurant is ok. The food was good! I'll give them my one star. |In the morning the check out guy seemed surprised to have people checking out at 4am. It's an airport hotel. Get it together.|Again. Don't stay here. Spend a little more and stay at Hilton Garden Inn. Totally worth it. This...
