Cabañas Rio Yaye — Hotel in San Pedro de Atacama

The place is extremely difficult to find. An easy fix for this would the to simply put up numbers or a small sign! It would alleviate so much stress for the guests. No one answered the door for a very long time. I finally got to speak to the caretaker who said she was not expecting guests. The owner was away and hasn’t told her that we were coming! We had to pull up our reservation in our phone and show what’s app communications with the owner. She kept asking which cabanas we were in. She must have finally gotten through to the owner and let us in. The rooms were dusty and there was urine in one of the toilets. The kitchen has very basic items- absolutely no bowls so we had to eat our cereal out of small coffee mugs. The stove is a joke with a missing knob and that is the only burner out of 6 that works! Dogs barking early every morning. There are at lest 4 maybe 6 dogs on the property. There was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. Green liquid dish soap is at the sink for your hands. Gross sponge for washing up and no dish towels or hand towels or napkins. The sink knob is extremely difficult to turn off so the water drops a lot. We arrived at the hotel, which is 4km away from SPA village, in the middle of the desert and there was no one there to open the damn door/gate. 6pm in peak season... The transfer had left before I had a chance to find a bell and we were stuck there. Si quiere ir en familia y descansar no elija este lugar, al llegar nos dieron una charla de los horarios que se podía compartir y hacer ruidos, pero las recomendaciones no las aplica el mismo dueño y sus amigos.... estuvieron cantando y con la música a todo volumen hasta las 6 de la mañana, mis dos hijos y mi señora no pegaron un ojo en toda la noche, fue tanto que me levante a tratar de que terminaran el escándalo 2 veces sin resultado, a la tercera tomamos nuestras cosas para irnos, levantar a mis dos hijos a las 6 de la mañana con sus caras de asustados y muertos de sueño. Voy a la cabaña del administrador Rodrigo el “uruguayo” como el me dijo que lo llamáramos para pagarle la noche y se levanta totalmente borracho, quiero cree que solo eso, y me dice que después le transfiera... al salir el furgón de don Rodrigo estaba tapando mi salida y voy nuevamente a tocar su puerta, al tercer intento se levanta y prepotente se me va encima como intentando golpearme, obviamente lo insulte y deje claro mi malestar..... dicho todo esto, solo quiero que sepan a lo que se exponen por ir a un lugar así, donde el administrador está totalmente borracho, se imaginan un caso de emergencia?||||Nota aparte son los 4 a 6 perros que tienen dentro del lugar y acostándose en los sillones dejando todo sucio y lleno de pelos.||||Horrible...
