The good first; had wifi, decent location, semi secure parking, nice front desk staff. |Now all the rest; pool was empty and from the look of it had been for awhile. Window had a broken lock and was easily accessible from the rooftop patio. You only have a door knob lock with no security lockand from the inside. The fitness center is a business and was set up for outside customers and not hotel guests. The breakfast was minimal and with stale bread. The breakfast lady shut down and put away what was there over one hour before scheduled ending. Wife showed up and there was nothing available. Taltal is a small fishing village about 90 min from the Paranal and the Very Large Telesope (VLT). We spent two nights to tour the VLT. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice. Breakfast is a typical Chilean Breakfast. Coffee is Nescafe, which is not unusual in Chile (In 4 weeks covering about 3000 miles, it was hard to find a good cup of coffee except at a coffee shop with an espresso machine). Que se puede decir de un lugar en donde piensan que te hacen un favor alojandote, te cambian las reservas y los precios arbitrariamente, las habitaciones son regulares a malas, sin conexión a internet y cuando preguntas te dicen que te conectes a tu red personal, no te dan desayuno, y solo te entregan una bolsa de papel con un jugo, un yogurth y un pan con queso. El baño hediondo, con olor a humedad, creo que ha Sido el peor lugar en el que me he quedado, creo que jamás diría esto, pero porfavor no se queden aquí, y lo último te cobran por el estacionamiento, es la primera vez que escucho que un hotel te cobra por estacionarse, no tengo palabras para describir lo malo que es, desconozco alternativas en esta ciudad pero está claramente no lo es.
