This place has the most amazing views right outside your cabin. Probably the best anywhere around. The chef has a good handle on gourmet cooking, esp for individual tables when the place is not busy. Salads are made with exceptionally fresh vegetables grown locally. On busy days the food is mass produced and not as appealing. So those are the high points. The reason I rate the place 2 stars is that hotel operations are a complete failure. Here's the inside scoop. The owners are such tightwads that they sacrifice customer comfort to pinch a penny. 1. Outside temp 29F, no heat! After complaining, heat was insignificant. 2. Shower head was literally rotting. All the rubber nozzles were missing so the water ran down the wall instead of spraying. I had to bring the shower nozzle to the front desk after the maintenance request was ignored. Water was hot and satisfactory pressure after replacing the shower head. 3. They ask you to conserve on towels and put them on the floor if you want them replaced. That's OK, but replaced means hung back on the wall, not cleaned. 4. Power outlets are hidden behind the bed so you must pull the bed away from the wall to connect your chargers. The problem is when they smash your plug in the walk while pushing the bed back against the wall. 5. WiFi. Well it works in reception area. It wouldn't be difficult to add a few wifi extenders to cover the 4 cabins. 6. If you come during a busy time the reception area is likely a day care center without supervision. This isn't a hotel management issue, it's parents who have no consideration for other guests.

We stayed for 4 nights. This may be one of the best locations we have ever stayed at. The views of Los Cuernos are spectacular, and being situated on the bend of the river just creates such a magic environment. There is a real danger of taking too many photos! Every room has a view, and the three of us were on the very end building. The rooms are like cabins, and while they are comfortable and large, they are basic and a little tired. But this 3-star hotel is more like a budget resort, with excursions, buffet dinner and breakfast, and lunch boxes on request. The buffet has a wide variety, which exceeded my expectations, and the dinner menu changed every night. Roasted beef, pork loin, salmon, conger, rabbit, chicken, roasted veggies, and many appetizers. Maybe not gourmet, but we thought it was really good! Some reviewers are critical of the staff, but if you at all spoke to them and greeted them as people, we found almost everyone friendly, welcoming, and extremely courteous. Thank you, Naty, for being a great host. This "budget resort" was well worth the costs. It is outside our normal budget, but considering the amazing location, just outside the park, endless variety of good food, and a cozy cabin, Hotel del Paine is the best choice for this price range! We would come back and we would recommend.

We stayed here for our trip to the park and it was such a perfect location. Beautiful views of the mountains. Right on the river. It is perfect for a park stay. We had plenty of room in our room. It is part of a quad cabin. Plenty of parking. Nice space. Good bathroom with nice toiletries. Shower and toilet. Nice space...we had three single beds. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (not included and expensive). All the food was nice. We had a good selection on both buffets and the food was nice. They had a good selection of wine and beer. We did not do any activities through the resort but seemed like they had a lot. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They changed our reservation and were super helpful.

We were very disappointed that our rooms were very different from our expectations. The rooms were described as "small room", so we expected it to be a small room in the main lodge. It turned out to be a tiny dome/ cabana, a stand-alone structure outside the main lodge. Even their internal room number referred to our "rooms" as Dome 1 and Dome 4. But the description on booking.com did not mention that word or any other similar word like cabana/ cabin/ tent. Nor did the description mention the "rooms" were not part of the main lodge. ||When we checked in and saw the "rooms" we had, I had tears in my eyes, never having stayed in camping type accommodation and being very particular to filter out any such results from my searches. Our once in a lifetime trip to TDP was ruined. We even considered flying straight back to Santiago. ||The property manager was sympathetic to our situation and even acknowledged that this misunderstanding of the dome rooms has happened before with other guests. They however insisted that the description on booking.com is not deceptive, with the dome pictures included and the specified square footage. When I booked, since this was the only room type available, the pictures were sort of viewed together with the 30+ pics of the lodge as a whole, and it was not obvious that the picture of the hut/ dome was what you were getting. Similarly, since this was the only room type available, it was not obvious that its much cheaper than their other rooms. Also, square footage in meters was easy to overlook. (if the property responds to my review, TA does not allow me to counter-respond, but any rebuttal the property provides is just simply CYA to justify deceptive marketing). ||After spending the first night in the dome, I explained to the management that my husband is claustrophobic and that for health and safety reasons, we have to check out ASAP. As we could only find alternate accommodation for the last 2 nights of our total 5-night stay, we requested a refund of those last 2 nights. The owner however only agreed to refund 1 night.||Additionally, when we checked in, the property manager offered us a $100 discount for dinner every night. She unfortunately was on leave the next few days and the owner only gave us 10% discount on the 3 dinners we had there. ||Overall, the experience left a bad taste for us, though I will also be fair that the service is good, property is clean, and the location is great. Morrena MUST change the description of these domes on booking.com. We have booked through booking.com many many times before, but never had this issue of a deceptive description that did not match the actual accommodations. This will help future clients not to get duped, and also protect the reputation of booking.com and TA as transparent and...

This was so grossly over priced for the quality of the food, service and amenities. ||The room was fine but not facilities for making hot drinks other than in the corridors but there were no cups to use or hot water. So you needed to walk all the way back down to the other end or go to the bar and sign for it. All evening meals from the restaurant were cold when served including morning scrambled eggs from the Baine Marie. There is no quality control on the meals as we ordered vegetarian sandwiches and the 3 came out different. Mine had lettuce, tomato mushroom capsicum and corn in a dry roll! We re ordered pasta a second night and it was definitely not the same as previously and tasted as if it were out of a packet and not edible. Drinks- cocktails were impressive to look at and generally nice. Drink service at dinner was appalling and you had to keep asking for a drink from arrival to when you left. ||We got an all inclusive package because it seemed it was going to be cheaper. Well all inclusive does not include tips it seems. So we had to sign for our meals and drinks every time which they had a total for. You then had to decide if you would agree to the 10%add on. A cup of coffee was $8USD for example. So it adds up every time. The staff would chase you out of the restaurant/cafe and hover over you while you signed and agreed or not. It was so over bearing and uncomfortable. And the service was terrible but I am not sure they knew how to do their work. ||The excursions were ok but most can be done without a guide. Those staff were generally very good but one did not read our small group well when going to the base of the towers and raced ahead of everyone without keeping an eye on the slower ones. And one did have an injury on the way back which he didn’t know until the person came out with the help of two other walkers. ||The region is lovely and we saw amazing cloud formations and sunrise and sunsets. Not sure I would recommend it though as I am sure there are places easier to get to with better...

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel del Paine, and we were both extremely happy with everything this hotel had to offer. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.

The location is simply unbeatable. Waking up to a stunning view of the Torres del Paine from the hotel was an experience in itself. The hotel is also conveniently located just 3 km from the Río Serrano entrance to the National Park, making it an ideal base for exploration.

The cabins are basic but very comfortable and spacious, offering a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. Everything is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the care put into making guests feel at home.

For nature lovers and photographers, the surroundings are breathtaking, with endless opportunities for exploration. The hotel’s navigation tour offering is fantastic, providing a chance to see the beauty of the region from a different perspective.

Another highlight was the food—delicious meals with a variety of styles to suit every taste. After long hikes, enjoying a great meal in such a wonderful setting was the perfect way to end the day.

A special mention to the staff for their encouragement and advice on the Base Torres hike. Their enthusiasm and guidance gave us the motivation we needed, and the warm welcome back after achieving our goal made the experience even more special!

A huge thanks to the amazing team who made our stay unforgettable: Miguel, Francisca, Catalina, Paula, Felipe, Bastian and many others. Your kindness and dedication truly made a difference! And of course, we also want to extend our gratitude to all the people working behind the scenes—the housekeeping team, maintenance staff, and everyone who contributes to keeping this place so welcoming.

This was an unforgettable stay for both of us, and we will definitely come...
