I personally found this a charming hotel, a little old fashioned, but in the odd way, like my grandmother's place in the old times: huge ceilings, painted furniture, boxes or rather baskets for sewing material. My daughter thought the old doll hanging on the wall was scary, but anyway, these are details. What mattered was that we couldn't sleep during a whole night because they gave us the room on the first floor at the street, and there is a new bar across the street which causes the hotel a lot of trouble: they even rang the police. Music until 5 in the morning, and afterwards people talking in groups on the street until 7 (!) in the morning! And considering the single glazing in Chile... Anyway, we complained and they gave us another room for our 2nd night. And second problem in the first room was indeed the smell of sewerage, very strong... And...
