北京五环大酒店 — Hotel in Beijing

A supposed four star hotel but in China the star rating means very little. That said the hotel is clean and staff are reasonably friendly and accommodating. Lobby and lounge is large and there is a small convenience store, although it has only a limited selection of products. The rooms are clean but could do with a little refurbishment especially the bathrooms which felt very dated. Only Chinese stations on the TV but the WiFi was fairly fast. Breakfast was adequate. There are western options but they are limited. Mediocre coffee, warm sweetened milk, two cereals, toast and very salty butter etc. Chinese options better if you prefer that sort of thing. On the plus side the location is good. Close to the Panjiayuan Antique Market and subway station. Adequate but...
