Jingcheng Business Hotel — Hotel in Beijing

I like the fact that the hotel is extremely close to the subway station, making it's convenient to go to other places. For such a budget traveler like me, this is a huge win. The price is affordable and I only need to walk and pay little amount for transportation. Of course, it is not close to the tourist center, but I have time so that's OK. Note: you might confused of the entrance at first, just enter from the gate right before the intersection from the subway station. I terms of cleanliness, it is clean though I have to admit that it can be improved. I noticed that they didn't change my sheets but probably they expected me to tell them in advance (hope this is the case), the cleaning lady was very nice and kind though. When I got there, I got the room in the corner so I didn't experience much noises from the corridor (it's there, but not too much and not too noticeable, and I was lucky). The room was also smell nice, no trace of cigarette smell whatsoever. Space wise, room is OK, amenities were also quite decent. They gave me 2 tea bags and 2 bottle of waters (daily), pretty standard. Service was OK, they were nice but the lobby was quite full tobacco smell. It's very safe there, after all...

For solo travelers visiting Beijing, I highly recommend considering this hotel. Its prime location just a 5-minute walk from Shilihe Metro Station is incredibly convenient. Although the rooms are compact, they suit my needs perfectly.However, I must note that the air heater isn't particularly powerful for warming up the room. Additionally, while the WiFi is fast, it's subject to the usual limitations commonly found throughout China.One aspect I particularly enjoyed was the food options available, with a wide variety of vegetables catering to halal and Muslim preferences. The cleanliness of the toilet was impressive, with amenities provided and a shower head that can be removed, making it Muslim-friendly.Furthermore, the hotel offers snacks and drinks for purchase directly at the reception counter, just in case if you arrive late at night, which is convenient given the limited availability of nearby convenience stores. Booked this hotel at the eleventh hour due to the last minute changes of the itinerary because of the bad weather. Transportation was affected by the weather. Booked this because of the location which is near line 10, shilihe metro station. We were very lucky to meet the on duty manager, Ms 冯海英. We do not have a local contact number thus unable to buy a bus ticket from Beijing to Wutaishan. We were inquiring about where we could purchase a local sim card. After hearing our situation, Ms 冯 offered to help us (7pax) buy the tickets with her personal number. In general, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Suggestion for the hotel consideration. Allow guests to use the laundry facilities at any time as we are here for holiday and will not be back early to get clothes washed and dried by 9 pm.
