Beijing Jiaowen Hotel — Hotel in Beijing

It looks like this hotel used to be a bit nicer. It's not as clean as it ought to be anymore. The non-smoking rooms are just rooms that have been deodorized before your arrival. Our non-smoking room was on a floor where lots of people were smoking. The hallways always smelt like cigarettes. The shower leaked onto the floor every time we used it. There was mold growing on along the edges of the shower. The carpet outside the bathroom was always wet. The carpet in the rest of the room never felt clean enough to walk on barefoot.||That said, the breakfast was quite nice. It was a mixture of western and Korean foods. The bed was comfortable. The staff were VERY helpful and kind.||The location was OK. It is nice place for Korean business traveller. They serve Korean food at the 1st floor with discount for customer. Also, it is easy to go to PEK with taxi. It usually takes 30~40 minute in the morning, but you have to wait for taxi around 10 minutes after calling due to heavy traffic jam.
